ice/ice blaster
sounds fun to me, this game isnt hard enough to where being creative with slotting messes you up too much. give it a try in the training room and see how you like it.
imo if you are already softcapped for range id stay there. the f/c defense would be nifty but having the range also doubles as mez protection since the overwhelming majority of mez powers are ranged. also, ice/ice benefits more from ranged combat since ice manip isnt exactly that good..other than ice patch...to help keep things at range lol

You could have the best of both worlds and just use your second build for it. If your I/F def build doesn't work out you would still have the ranged one to fall back on.
So i have an ice/ice/cold blaster for the last 3 years. he's soft capped at range and i mainly fight while hovering around. I had an idea that with so many fire farms forming on AE that perhaps maybe i would make him suited a little more with the ice theme of like marvel comics where he is resistant to fire.
So i was going to try to take my build and adjust it more to where i'm soft-capped at ice and fire. If that takes my range away and makes me more of a ground fighter so be it.
Sound like fun or more miserable?
