If you watch the animations from Hero Con, you'll notice some nods towards that movie.

anyway, i watched the demo of the dual gun and look like its fun... they could do a new sec power too, like "cold mind" or "specialist" for human normal heroes based. Like Sorter on that movie Revolver.

I concur that the Dual Pistols animations do seem to borrow heavily from the action in Equilibrium, which itself gives a strong nod to all the classic HKAT Gun Fu flicks.
