Ya, damned be the storylines and canon that make up this game. We just want more content to blow through in a few days and then state how the game is dying, devs are lazy and NcSoft is the devil.

The letters are a nice touch and will hopefully be the prelude to some type of larger announcement.

On topic as well: I liked Ruins' the best, I honestly don't see why people like Tin Mages' letter though, but to eachs own, not bout take time to figure out why. XD

The greatest thing about these letters is that they remind us of a time before Emergency Medical Teleporters. When they fell in battle, they stayed dead! Wrap your head around that!

[edit]That reminds me: if the Rikti never came to Praetoria (this is an inter DIMENSIONAL war, not intergalactic) what happens when you die in Praetoria? Where did the medical tech come from?

My guess is some combination of the hinted nuclear exchange in Korea or something to do with the Hamidon and DE encroaching on Praetorian civilization. I'm not sure whether that latter bit was a fan-theory or something that was presently hinted in the story leaks.

Magic Robot archetype coming in issue 17.
Interesting...so as we all know Hero 1 doesnt have Excalibur anymore and didnt make it back(becasue he is an end boss you have to fight)....and given what the letters imply...that means he made a sacrifice to make sure all the others did survive....so i am wondering when they will actualy show up.....
And when i say when...i mean what time period....i cant recall the exact text but something from Oroboros makes me thinnk at least one or 2 of them came back before the rikti even appeared.
So anywise....
I hope everyone realizes that If these letters had been posts from other players on these forums...the first post someone would have said is: Ok can i have your stuff then?

Awesome set of letters, I liked The Presdigigi-um, Presto, no Prestigula....that one guy with just a wand the best.

This appears to be related to this thread... with this morning's patch, I noticed that the mission to earn a cape (hero side from the City Rep) has changed. I ran it last night and was in the middle of the Aura mission when I logged out. This morning, after completing the Aura mission, I noticed that it again gave me the option to run the Cape mission so I went ahead and re-ran it.
The new cape mission adds an actual Memorial map that you visit where you get to talk to some magical spirit version of Hero 1, after which you have to run another mission to retrieve a letter that was stolen from the Time Capsule. Kind of a nice update to a mission that I have run dozens and dozens of times over the last 5 years.
It looks like the Aura mission might have been updated as well (it gave me a chance to run it again too after I had already completed it), but I don't have time to check it out this morning.
