A lot has happened since your departure. The war ended in the aftermath of the Omega Team trip to the Rikti homeworld, everything you set to accomplish with your sacrifices, you did. Earth was saved. All of us owe you a debt of gratitude we will likely never be able to repay. "Thank you" sounds poor and inadequate.

After the war, Earth managed to rebuild. We rose from the war stronger than ever, new heroes joined the ranks, our future looked bright, even if the past was dark. I was one of these new heroes; I'm young, and at the time I didn't knew much, all I knew was that I suddenly had acquired special powers and that I had to put them to good use. I thought I could take on the world.

How conceited.

Two years ago the world stood still when we heard of a second Rikti invasion. Somehow the Rikti had managed to break through the barrier the Omega Team had created, and they were pouring in by the hundreds. I couldn't believe it.

My memories of the first Rikti War are hazy. I was just a normal girl, all I can remember is the noise, the terrible noise, and the fear that gripped me in my every waking moment. This time, I joined Vanguard without second thought. They welcomed me with open arms, and before I knew what was going on exactly I found myself standing in front of a swarm of Rikti Drones.

Remember how I said I thought I could take on the world?

That day I found how wrong I was.

It's one thing to punch punks and gangsters. Finding myself in the middle of a real, terrible war, was something else. My blood froze when the humming of the drones sent me back to the first war. I could barely react. All my efforts seemed clumsy and powerless. After waking one too many times at the hospital, it dawned on me: I was no match.

All the time I had been running around in a costume pretending to be a hero, all the time I had wasted thinking I was so strong. That's all I could think of. Now, when it really mattered, when there was something truly large at stake, I failed; miserably so.

This second war did not last. It ended in a surprising way, when we learned the truth behind how the war started. The Rikti thought we attacked first. We thought they did.

Plum Blossom, did you survive? If you didn't, I hope you learned this before the end. I hope so because it'll give your sacrifice even more meaning. Because when the Omega Team traveled to the Rikti homeworld and ended the war, you not only saved Earth. You saved the Rikti too, you saved everyone who was involved in a conflict that was a complete and utter error.

We thought this second war had ended. Lately, we have received information that it may not be the case. Some within the Rikti, and some within Earth, refuse to accept the end of the war. They have been driven so far that they only see the war itself, they see the death of the enemy as their only purpose. The war may resume at any moment, we don't know what will happen.

But this time, I haven't been sitting idly waiting for it to come. I have spent all my time training and working on becoming stronger. I have left everything behind, family, friends, my first hero partner, everything and everyone, for this single purpose. If war comes again, I will be ready, and I will do everything in my power to stop it. Your sacrifices will not have been in vain, I'll prove it with my own strength.

I must go now, and finish this letter while I still can. But I assure you, the Autum Festival of your homeland will return this year, no matter what happens. Even if I have to join you.

I've found six of the letters so far. If there's a God and she smiles on me, I hope the character models for the Omega Team get created, so I can actually do this video.

Doesn't make many sense: "With the fire on the sky". Maybe "With the fire of the sky" (The Sun). "Con el fuego del cielo"

"We dance in the 'flammas'"
"flammas" isn't a Spanish word. ¿Flames? The the word would be "llamas".

Well, that's hard. It would mean 2 things:

"and we catch fire,
with the spirit of the fire"
Meaning they use the power of an actual spirit to ignite themselves. This sounds weird to me.

Or,

"we burn,
with the temper of the fire"
Meaning they are full of passion.

My guess is the last one and:
would sound better to a Spanish ear.

( Yes a true man dose show there feelings) I just got to say wow. I was kind of disappointed that there was only 1 villain letter in all of them. So I take it Ruin is the only Villain that went? I want to know what happened to them there, and all who actually came back from there, I know Inferna, and Glacia came back. I heard 1 other came back but can not remember who it was. But I still felt like I wanted one or a couple of my toons to join them. But like some had said be for about another TF/SF or COOP one would be fun. Dose anyone know if they are going to have a comic out of what happened, or is there one where is it?

I still didn't understand the earlier question--but as Mayhem said, Dark Watcher was not part of the Omega Gambit. The Top Cow comic even implies that he was still wandering dimensions until the second invasion.

Or just part of the mission text that you can read when you get a spare moment during the mission? PM me or post here, I'd sure appreciate it. Just reading these on the forums has made me think of something my main might say or write in response in a journal.

If I can't find them I can't read them. And that utterly sucks because I've been looking forward to the opening of the time capsule for YEARS.
