Bring back rep comments!

Since rep comments went bye bye on you page, I have gained several positives.

I wish I knew where and what for....

Yes Aura, you are whinny, you are totally whinny, complete.

When they bring it back, the mods should make it so the person leaving the comment isn't anonymous. This way, I can get more of a chuckle to see the person who's insulting me.

Just to jog your memory, on the old boards, there was a star system for users. The mods chose to disable it. When the moderators switched over to this new forum, they had the decision in front of them to either allow the reputation system (including comments) to be turned on, or to disable the rep system and comments. They choose to enable them.

7-Layer Italian Quiche

2nd place student winner in the 23rd annual cooking contest! Recipe by Austin Tasler.
Ingredients:
1 9” refrigerated pie crust
1 tablespoon olive oil
¼ cup green peppers, chopped
¼ cup red peppers, chopped
¼ cup red onions, chopped
6 strips bacon
1 cup mozzarella cheese, blended with pesto, shredded
¼ cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
6 eggs
¾ cup milk, skim or 2%
¼ cup Italian parsley, minced
1 cup croutons, crushed

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°F. Follow package directions to lay the pie crust in a glass 9” pie pan. In a small skillet, saute green pepper, red pepper, and red onion in olive oil until tender and onion is slightly translucent. Remove vegetables from skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, brown and crumble bacon until crispy. Drain on paper towels.

Start assembling the layers by placing the crumbled bacon on the unbaked pie shell. Layer the shredded mozzarella cheese over the bacon followed by the sauteed vegetables. Layer the sun-dried tomatoes over the vegetables. In a medium size bowl, crack the six eggs and whisk in the milk until combined thoroughly. Pour over the tomatoes and vegetables. Place the Italian parsley over the egg mixture. Sprinkle the croutons over the top. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Serves 6.

Bagel Bites

1 tsp. margarine
10 eggs
½ c. chapped ham
¼ c. chopped green pepper, optional
¼ c. red pepper, optional
9 slices fat-free cheese, cut diagonally
9 bagels Melt margarine in skillet over medium heat. Sprinkle ham, green pepper and red pepper evenly over bottom of skillet. Beat eggs in medium size bowl. Gently pour beaten eggs over ingredients in skillet. Reduce heat to low and cover skillet. Cook for 10-12 minutes or until eggs are set. Cut egg mixture into 9 square sections. Place each egg patty on bottom half of bagel. Top with 2 cheese triangles and other half of bagel.
