Dual Pistols Question

I think that any new power sets would be made with customization as part of them - but I'm not totally sure on that

If you watch the video carefully, there's a lot of gun twirling. You're likely to get a lot of customization options, but I sincerely doubt a pistol with a shoulder stock would be one of them. Something like that would be significantly difficult to spin, and even harder to stop and catch right, not to mention look really, really odd.
Personally, I'm looking forward to some kind of large, blocky semi-automatic. The automatics we have now are nice, but not futuristic enough and not really big enough for what I have in mind. I'd like to see a few flintlock pistols, as well, perhaps even one with a funnel barrel.
On the note of gun twirling, I wonder if a handgun with a laser sight won't look really odd in these cases, or if the laser sight would cut out for those moments so we don't see it constantly clip through our arms. Curious...

I'd love stuff that looks close to a Lawgiver, Grave's guns from Gungrave (which, in all black would be pretty darn close to Robocop's gun), Megatron! and a nice olde-fashioned-ey six-shooter.
@craggy see me on Union for TFs, SFs (please!) or just some good ol fashioned teaming.

Doesn't need the shoulder stock. Just needs the magazine at the front and the long thin tapered barrel

edit: and the downside is you can't hit anyone within three feet of yourself.

What we need are better Flintlocks! Have to be my favourite handgun.. Probably because I opt for pirates over ninjas
The ones we have don't look too great, and with the new costume pieces we've been seeing I'm sure they can reskin them to look better.

What's that? Of course my characters are hard core enough to dual-wield 192 metric-ton tanks like pistols. Aren't everyone's?

As long as we're wishing, I'd like to see one thing we currently miss: a technological handgun with the barrel casing reaching down to the trigger guard, and perhaps even lower. Advent Rising has a good, but simplistic example (mind you, that's in-game graphics) which is describe, if I recall correctly, as a firing "90 calibre, armour-piercing, concussive rounds." Note how the "tech" around the actual barrel is extended downward to line up with the bottom of the trigger guard. We don't have that in here.
And, yes, very much PLEASE let us recolour all the handguns. It KILLS that I can't recolour anything but the Automatics!

Though I suppose our regular pistols can pass for them if need be.
I just want to be able to color the pistols...that way we can have gold plated uzis ^_^.

Some interesting choices... but the reason I opted for the C96 is two-fold - I like the look, and I want something with a retro look. Most of the guns we have are either contemporary, futuristic or too retro (if you take flintlocks into consideration.)
something pre-WWII with a lot of firepower would go well with a character dressed in 30s garb

The mauser has been used in one of the Marvel Comics as well. One old silver age hero who is helping Spiderman out in his old days.
