GR really is either the start of the revival of the EU servers or the end of them as we all know
We've all said that GR will be the issue that gets population numbers back up and it should do in theory, however if it doesnt . . . . i guess its safe to say that we'll all be transfered to the US servers
As much as i prefer and love the EU servers, i just cant say to a friend of mine to start in the EU rather than the US servers. All my friends who i got to play this game played the EU for a bit before getting a US account and play there instead.

Indeed, If I where to get in to the game today, I'd go for an US account, but if I had done that way back, back in the middle ages, I wouldn't have met all the fun Euro ppl so I can't say I'm sorry. Also, I almost bought SW: Galaxies instead! 
Btw, I watched the youtube clips from Hero con, but couldn't quite hear: Is the new ULTRA mode for missions as well? Does look rather nice, and no war walls! It would be a pity if it fails, but I am getting scared... again... Too many left after hearing about the no-content I16. Redside is an effin' desert (let's face it, there's not a whole lot of NPC's redside either)
Ultra mode is for everything and war-walls-begone!™ is just for Praetoria.

Great idea to remove them while we're facing the biggest invasion ever, and "the storm" approaching. Oh, wait, that's the excuse not to bother getting rid of it!
Anyway, getting a team for the red MoBades was another epic fail. I thought ppl would be back from "that other" game by now. I know they've left "that other" game, so they must be stuck in some void! (Notice no smiley!)
They might need time to get over the horror of the Other Game first

Scary thing about the US servers, the numbers there are not too grand as well. Aion and CVo have stolen a lot of customers. Lets hope temporary.
Having just reactivated my account after over a year away, I'm starting to wonder why I bothered as the EU servers are effectively empty. Comparing now to the EU launch, it's now like playing in a ghost town. When will the US and EU servers be merged?

Yea we are done with Champions now, that went real rubbish really quick.
Trouble is this game is still the same old till they add something new. If GR is another load of hot air coming soon, thats it from us with this game as well im afraid.
Roll on GR so theres something worth looking in again for.
Lastly when are this lot going to face the fact the EU servers are empty and merge the list?

I think putting the lists together would be a good idea - it'd give all the players extra slots

I'm seeing seriously reduced populations on the US servers in the UK mornings and afternoons to an extent that it's barely worth logging on at those times. I'm also seeing less and less of my SG logging on of an evening even though they're quitting CO in droves.

Well, right now it's not even worth logging on to moan in #Defiant Events or just random chat with folks. Sort of put my plans for a perma-dom and a running hero granite on hold. Oh well, got Band Hero for the PS3 yday, so I'll have some good laughs until the weekend...

Well I logged in on Monday and saw only one other person of my Theme Team on, waited a while then logged out and played Dragon Age. Think I have an STF to do on Sunday, then Monday evening again........ then Monday evening again. However Dragon Age is going along really well and its a bit annoying there's only 3 main classes

Merging the server lists...
No problem with that.
One list of servers, US and EU combined... That would be grand. (Don't wake me.. zzz I'm having a good dream)
(But merging servers... no, no, no and did i mention "No!". That is never a good sign.)
But what have been vital to me is the community, chat channels. Be it event or badge channel and my sg.

The gloves you gave Zevran are one of his plot items and one that boosts his likeability towards you very much. Also, since he is bisexual, if you buy him stuff, he'll sex you up. Although I'm guessing he'd still sex you up regardless of gifts. He's a very bearer of horns type person. If you get my meaning. *wink wink, nudge nudge*

Hmm.. and I'd be all for character transfers between EU and US servers as well, let natural selection (player server migration) determine if they could let some servers go and save some cash which could benefit players in some other way...

Personally I would like to suggest that they merge the European Servers including Zukunft and Vigilance into one server. Then to merge the server lists together. After that I suggest they merge every 3 servers into 1 server. This once more including the EU server.
This would assure that us Europeans stay a bit clustered so we can play during those hours that the US citizens sleep and work.
It would upset quite a lot of people, it would also give the wrong signal, but at least it would give every newly formed server enough people to party with. To do fun things like big Raids like Hamidon. Any one here done Hamidon? 5 years of gaming and no Hamidon for me.
Of course, it is not up to me and things will stay as they are until GR launches. GR is the new big hope of salvation. I expect that it will bring some relief but it wont save this game for a long time.

I say no to server merges. Merge the lists yes but NOT the servers

I was planning on ding the Mo5sf and MoITF this evening/weekend on Defiant, but realized the last few days I've actually been on, even at peak hours there's been a max of 65 villains on.
I could cry d000m of course, but the new reformed(?) me asks instead: How's the population on the other servers and blueside?
While GR definitely looks good with the graphics update it's quite far off, and there's no info on any new issues and it's becoming evermore clear to me that the people that left before the last issue isn't coming back and I myself rarely find reasons to log on except to harass #defiant events!
Is this the beginning of the end, instead of the end of the beginning?
