Feedback from Dr. Aeon

Hello everyone!

Dr. Aeon here, fresh off of handling some interference from some superhe - err, I mean, some annoying tax collectors. With superpowers. And capes.

Anyway! I'm here today to copy what many of the people on the forum here are already doing. Which is giving feedback on arcs within Mission Architect. However I have a lot on my plate today, including examining a cavern full of lava for its potential uses in the future and a trip into the Shadow Shard. Crazy place that Shard is alright, reminds me a bit of an old movie at one point...

Sorry, tangent. The point being, I'll only be able to play and give feedback on one arc.

So, what arc will be chosen to play? Here's how we'll do it.

Starting...NOW...until 5pm PST time, you can post one of your own arcs that you would like me to play. After 5pm, I will assign each arc a number and then put it through Aeon Corps' patented Random Number Generator (a new guy made it, bless his heart) to choose one arc to play. I'll then play that arc and my feedback on it will be posted on a later date. I would give you all a specific date, but you wouldn't believe how difficult it is for these Arachnos goons to stop random super-powered villains from kidnapping me, all to write some stupid paper for the Television.

My feedback will mainly be me doing everything I can to help you make the arc as solid as possible. I want to point out that just because I've played the arc doesn't guarantee that it will be a dev choice in the future. I will be doing what I can to give whoever is chosen feedback on what they can do to make their arc as good as it can be.

So start posting your arcs! Time is ticking!

I know I submitted this for the MA Awards, but if you it's entirely possible, please give me some feedback on The War on Superadine (Arc ID 151088), based upon the "Just Said No to Superadine" and "Scholar" plaques. I would be greatly appreciative

Edit: obligatory FPARN. Now I feel dirty.

'Ey there,

I'd love to get some feedback on The Coldest of Wars (arc id #299972), if possible. It is tangentially related to the Revenant Hero Project storyline; not a direct prequel, but I tried to make the relevant bits fit with the original story as much as possible.

Thanks in advance,

-- Z.

Oooh, feedback from Dr. Aeon himself! This should be good. Well, I submitted two of my arcs to the Architect awards. If you'd like to run one of those, I'd definitely like you to run The Rikti Accession, a 40-50 Neutral (Although it's more co-op, being in the RWZ style) arc. Its ID is 278757.

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!

Hi Dr. Aeon!

I'd be very grateful if your lottery happens to pick my arc, "Captain Dynamic, the Great, Faces the Great Face", arc id 190069, by @Aehaed. It ties into the Rooster Teeth pantheon. As well as improving the arc, I'm curious to know whether I've used this source material appropriately.

Cheers, airhead

If I'm not too late and it's not a conflict for an arc to have been submitted to the contest as well... I'd really appreciate it if you'd check out A Warrior's Friend - ID 335212 >.<

Any feedback would be welcome hehe <^_^>; it doesn't seem to get many plays for some reason, so I'm kinda at a loss for how to make it better.

I'll throw my arc out into the running for this, only because I'm almost insanely hungry for feedback right now (it took 6 months for me to make, and so far only one person who's run it has actually left feedback).

Well if you're taking recommendations, I'll throw out my first adventure, for kicks:

Get Dash Apostrophe (#4644!)

Admittedly I haven't streamlined it with the new issue's changes to AE yet (for custom critters and the like) but this is the favorite of the two I've built so far.

Well, since my first arc is in the contest, and my latest is buggy (Need those spawn bugs fixed please. ) I guess I will go with my second.

Title: Simple Times
ID: 70801
Levels: 5-14
Keywords: Solo Friendly, Canon Related, Save The World
Description: Talshak the Mystic has asked for your help with a minor clean up mission in a warehouse. Happens all the time, no big deal, just giving someone a quick helping hand. At least that was how it started. Sequel to Future Skulls, 4727. [SFMA/LBMA]

Yes it is a sequel, but I have tried to make it stand on its own as well.

Excellent! Copied from the fantastic cohmissionreview.com, I present my arc:

Story Description: Investigate the inner workings of a little known villainous organization, in order to help a former henchman in over his head.

Story Arc ID
: 328990
Author’s Global Chat Handle: @Marcian Tobay
Length: Very Long (5 missions)
Level Range: 1-54
Mission Status: Final
Alignment: Heroic

Designer Notes: This was my first project and is intended to be a soloable story. The enemies should be relatively easy yet interesting, in order to keep the emphasis on the drama that unfolds. Additionally, the concept of the enemy group introduced is written that it should fit into the rest of the City of X lore without feeling shoehorned.

I am working on a poster or banner to have at some point.

Harshest criticism welcome! Thanks!

Oooh, pick me! Pick me! The arc is "Aeon's Nemesis" - #161865.

Like Obsidius, I submitted my arc to the Architect Awards contest, so in theory it's "final." But I'm always willing to tweak things based on feedback, and good feedback is worth a lot of tickets. So I'll ask for a review anyway; if you feel my submission disqualifies the arc, well, I'll forgive you.

But come on: I called my arc Aeon's Nemesis. How can I not ask for Aeon's Feedback?

-D

P.S. Don't worry about people suspecting you of bias if you choose an Aeon themed arc for feedback. Everyone knows that Dr. Aeon's Random Number Generator technology is beyond reproach!

Obsolete (#2225) @Demon Shell

There's a lot of information, and I wonder if it gets too confusing, especially with the cliffhanger ending (which I will work on continuing when/if players ever get access to Peacebringer powersets, or at least the ability to use the powersets of the Awakened Division on custom models).

Also, I noticed that you don't seem to get the rescue clues unless you're standing next to the person when you rescue them. But that dialog only reinforces concepts, it's not vital.
