  1. Since the Battalion arc is after the Praetorian arc, I guess we can assume that players should be 50 (+3) at that point to fight that new and greater menace. Hopefully it will reset the bar like at the beginning of the Praetorian arc and Battalion should be at the minimum level 54(+3). Naturally, I'm assuming the next Incarnate powers will grant level shifts to fill the gap between the players and Battalion.

    Sig arc part #3

I confirm this. JUst happened to me. The Poison Arrow is on the ground and won't dissappear, so Alexis is still considered being held hostage and you cannot progress and finish the mission.

Yesterday it was fine. Today's patch broke this mission.

yeah, I retract what I thought it was happening in my previous post, everything seems to be normal. I've just ran a few missions and everything looks fine.

Changing, Affirming, and Reinforcing your moralityis 3 different things. So it's like what Chad said here. That means for a new character, at level 20 he will have to run 10 tips, one morality to affirm, 10 tips, 1 morality to reinforce and then he will be able to get Alignment Merits from the SSAs.

Assuming you want to change Alignement, lets say Hero to Villain. It would be 10 Vig tips; 1 Vig Morality to change to Vigilante; 10 Vil tips; 1 Vil Morality to change to Villain; 10 Vil tips; 1 Vil Morality to affirm Villain (and getting 50 Reward Merits); 10 Vil tips; 1 Vil Morality to reinforce Villain (and getting 1 Villain Merit). At that point, you can start getting Villain Merit from SSAs
  4. Looks like everyone got reverted to "no alignment", and the first time you run a Morality it won't be to reinforce it. Heroes/Villains will get 50 Reward Merits instead of 1 A-Merit. Vigilantes/Rogues will get 30 Reward Merits instead of 60 Reward Merits. Basically, looks like everyone has to reaffirm their alignments no matter what when they implemented the change to get A-Merits from the SSAs.
  5. Agent Kwahu, a Longbow Spec-Ops, is next to the Hospital in Founders Falls.

Agent Kwahu is one of the numerous Spec-Ops agents within Longbow. He has been part of several important operations, including the original mapping of the tunnel systems beneath Grandville and creating a plan of operations for establishing a front in Nerva Archipelago.
  6. Got my points today too. Billing date is 28th.
  7. The Coming Storm is The Batallion. With a character that completed the Underground Trial, just pay a visit to Prometheus to read all the new info he gives.

So while the lack of reward parity between sides is not by design, only the devs can do something about it - whether that means adding the reward redside or removing it blueside.
Looks like it's bugged. If you exit the mission right away before the Freedom Phalanx arrives, you don't have the 2 Reward Merits. BUT, if you stay in the mission till the timer reaches 0:00, you are awarded the 2 Reward Merits as the Reward Table pops up. Freedom Phalanx always spawn at the same spot in front of the Obelisk, so its easy to go elsewhereon the map while waiting for the timer to reaches 0.

There's also the mystery of the hieroglyphs/symbols thing. Certainly not the Dinosaurs who carved them in the rocks, hehe.

Will give the show a chance and watch more episodes to see how it develops. Special FXs are indeed pretty good.
  10. Same here. I was on Virtue.

So no, the entire story won't be as low as this part. This was just done so that the writers could, y'know, tell the story they wanted to tell using the enemy groups they wanted to use.
Looks like it might go like this:

    Part 1: level 20
    Part 2: level 25
    Part 3: level 30
    Part 4: level 35
    Part 5: level 40
    Part 6: level 45
    Part 7: level 50

Indeed new. I have all the Auras and that one was locked. Also, at the tailor, I selected it to see what it looked like, and it is indeed new. It's pretty neat. I guess that Aura was in theme with the new Signature Story Arcs.

Headstart is only VIP players can login, and no Premium and Free players. It just means people with a monthly subscription will be able to play for a while, before the floodgates are opened to new players, and old players who haven't re-subbed yet.

This suggests VIPs will get pacting back eventually, and launch is less than 30 days away.
Wouldn't the problem as I understand it still be present? Your newly Beam Rifle/Time Manipulation Corruptor gets into a level pact with my Robotics/Sonic Mastermind during the headstart. Shortly after the headstart has ended, I stop my sub, going from VIP to Premium, and I'm not high enough in Paragon Rewards to unlock Mastermind without buying them. Do the Mastermind still get the XPs even if I can't play it? The level Pact goes kaboom?

I went back to the Midnight Club and clicked on it, to re-read the text, because I think you got that part right, hehe.

    Midnight Mystery
    The Skull of Tommy Arcanus
Once a member of the Midnight Squad... always a member of the Midnight Squad. Tommy Arcanus delved so deeply into the metaphysical arts that his very being was affected. Not only was his daughter born with magical powers, but even in death Tommy's spirit is unable to pass on. Now, all that remains of him is this skull and the spirit that haunts it.

The question is, is it for that particular arc? Lets go into the future and the Who Will Die storyline has ended. Can we run the 7 arcs during a week to get 7 rewards, or it's only one reward table per week, no matter which signature arc you run?

Tier1 is free to everyone, you don't have to spend a token for it. So the first token spent is for the tier2 (which is equivalent to the 3 months vet badge).

Don't forget every gets one Paragon Token for each year of subscription. Under the present Veteran system, someone with 48 months would automatically advance to 60 months since they get 4 tokens for 4 years.

Once you have all the tier8 rewards, you can select from tier9 or tier9 VIP... but you need to have a sunbscription to select in tier9 VIP.

I think in that case it will be powers like Ninja Run, Nemesis staff, Remote Auction House, and the like, and not actual powersets.

I think most if not all new Powersets (like Time Manipulation) will be free for VIP. And most probably buyable at the Paragon Store for Free and Premium players.

You can wait to get there too, with your monthly Paragon Token.
  22. About the maximum 29 tokens in the screenshot, I think they forgot to count the 1 token per year. 29 tokens is indeed 87 months which is the maximum you can have presently. but 87 months vet would also get 7 more tokens for 7 years of sub, for a total of 36 Veteran Tokens.

66 month vet... doesn't get me anything new just what I have? So lost, could have been worded user friendly not dev friendly!

I also doubt that the IO booster is going to work the way mentioned...Can I put 6 of them into my Lockdown:Chance for Mag 2 Hold that is slotted into Volcanic Gasses?
You get more actually, and then you will get stuff faster.

66 months vet is 27 tokens. 27 tokens under the actual system makes you a 81 months vet. So if Freedom would go live presently, you would make a big jump in the veteran rewards. And after that, you go up the veteran rewards tree each month, not every 3 months. So you will get to the tier9 sooner than you think.

Normally it should. 87 months is 36 tokens. You spend 34 to unlock tier 1 to tier 8, leaving you with 2 tokens to spend in Tier9 and/or Tier9 VIP.

But, as a point of clarification -

This says you can start with up to 29 tokens. But by using this formula: N/3+((N/3)/4)=Reward Tokens, it says I should end up with 36 Reward tokens by the time this launches (87 month vet badge, if you want the variable).

Does this mean that I will only get 29 tokens when this launches, instead of the full 36? Or is the 29 tokens the amount spent to start unlocking Tier 9, with 34 tokens needed to fully unlock Tier 9?

Beyond that small wording issue, I see nothing but greatness in this ustream overview.

Edit: Misread the VIP aspect of the Rewards. Modified post accordingly.
Must be a mistake, I'm getting my 87 months vet badge in a few days. I had a sub since the beginning and it never lapsed. That indded should be 36 Paragon Tokens if Freedom would start in August.
