At this point I would like to apologize to everyone involved for wasting your time. I had the best of intentions of running the contest, and following through with it just as I detailed in the original CCC #3 thread but in the end I just couldn't do it. All the entrants had such cool characters... All the suggested scenes became so vivid in my imagination... After the contest was completed I just wasn't satisfied with the two winners. Not that I wasn't totally eager to see the two pieces. Not that I didn't think they deserved to win. But rather I was disappointed in not seeing all the other ones... Well, I could only think of one way to fix that... All entrants got one of their entries commissioned out. Not everyone is getting a piece by The Foo which was the announced prize (though the two winners and a couple others are) but they will all be getting a piece done. Frankly I didn't want to overwhelm Foo nor wait forever to get them all done... I was going to wait to reveal the pieces from the non winners until their all done but with so many people watching various DA pages and such I realized that just couldn't realistically be kept a secret. Anyway, the first piece is done. I would like to present you all with Fenian Girl and Oathbound by Juggertha:  Fenian Girl is my character, Oathbound belongs to... Oathbound. The rest of the pieces will be posted here as they become available... Thanks Caemgen, you're super awesome. This marks the first real piece I have of any of my characters, cause I'm a broke a** (as is evident from my account being closed currently) and always seem to miss the free artz lol.
It's very nice work there Juggy. (I'm really more appreciative than I think I sound.)

Heh, no problem... One of my reasons for doing this was exactly to bring art to those who didn't have it. Glad you like the it
As for the email, feel free to pm me (Pyro already seems to have confirmed your you) and I can send or you can wait for Juggy. Either works.

Plus you never know what gems you'll get by letting the artists run with it. When CR did thesketch of Caemgen (a suprise so I had no say in it) he created what I now consider the definitive face of Caemgen... When I told Swanzy to do whatever he wanted he put the Celtic Knotwork on Cae's shoulder pads, gloves and boots - something else which I now consider a must for the character...
But those are extremes... It's cool to just compare one style to another, to see which elements each focuses on. To see the different techniques used to bring out the personality. One of the reasons I am very eager to see Cashoo's take on my 3 characters is because she was given the same references, the same general pose suggestions, etc as Taclobanon had and I am eager to see how the two artists with different styles and strengths pull off the same characters....
Agreed. And while not everyone is like that (soe really want absolute control over their characters), I enjoy seeing the (slightly) different versions of my character.
And I can totally understand those who want complete control... Some have been playing the character for years and have the image of their character cemented in their minds. I see no problem with that, I may be the same years from now... Caemgen is quickly gaining must have parts of his look

Omi's piece came out real nice too... good depiction of the "Witch's top"

) and good use of the dramatic up-lighting.
Well the lacey parts could have been more see through but I think he did an amazing job on the costume. The only tiny flaw I see (and it could just be me)is that the fur of the magic bolero seems to be riding a tad too high up the one arm... Besides that I can't find a flaw...
She doesn't come off as cute as I envision her but with the up lighting and overall feel of the piece I don't think forcing cute would really work.
I must say I was shocked when the group Daybreakers showed up in my deviations... I never expected that at all. Even if rhardo's art wasn't top o the line I would be giving him raves just for going above and beyond like that.

lol, it's really my intention to lay off on new buys until after the new year... But then I saw the "doddle" he did for you and I had to jump on his offer. 
I've still got a bunch waiting to be done - mainly contest stuff (due to my insanity on the one) but a few personal pieces as well - but I'm going to resist buying anything new (except for one I am planning in conjunction with someone else) unless I find a really, really good deal
If you're wanting to save money, Caem, the next piece is on me But then you definitely got to choose the artist then, hehe
