Biting The Bullet: New Skeletons
Plus, some new skeletons I'd like to see:
Female Huge
Male Beastial (low-hanging arms, runs on all fours)
Female Beastial (same)
Male and Female Snake Hybrids (wouldn't allow for Martial Arts to be taken, or would force the hitting animations)
Plus, some quadruped skeletons would be nice. But I'm not holding my breath on any of these.
Let me never fall into the vulgar mistake of dreaming that I am persecuted whenever I am contradicted.

I dunno that including Going Rogue in that list of accomplishments necessarily works, since all that we've actually seen of it, last time I knew, was a press release, and hell, I can write a press release. I used to do it for a living, even!
That said, Captain Photon has always been slightly incomplete without Angstrom the Quantum Hound, so I say, Get to it!
All for it, just as there are no "Defeat X Boars in Cherry Hills" missions.

I'd enjoy new skeletons, but even having the capability to switch idle/ running animations for the current Male/ Female/ Huge skeletons would be keen, and more so, wouldn't involve creating new animations for powers (the real possible problem with any new skeletons). For example, you could have Bestial idle/ run, Jittery idle/ run, etc. for exisitng Male/ Female/ Huge characters. Having more options like Female Huge is always nice, and then custom idle/ run animations can be applied to those skeletons too per the player's preference.
Of course, if new skeletons were to be made for player characters, that Python code they used for Power Customization could be handy for exporting animations, making slight adjustments for new skeletons, and applying them, in order to expedite such a large endeavor over every powerset
I'll support new skeletons if the first priority is dinosaurs (and dinosaur riders) added to Cimerora. Because nothing says "history" like Nazis, Romans, Aliens, and Dinosaurs. If we can add in some gorillas, we'll be golden (because everything's better with monkeys)!

I'll go right ahead and say that I want a new Female Huge model, myself. There really is no way to morph the current Female model into what I have in mind without destroying people's currently existing costume by altering slider effects. By "Female Huge," though, I don't mean Huge with a female head on top, I mean a taller, more masculine version of the current female model.
Now, theoretically, having a Champions-style skin muscle slider (essentially how ripped the skin texture is without altering the model) could cover probably half the ground. I remember the old bug that put the male's muscular, popping-vein biceps on the female body if you used the Cop Shirt sleeves, and that actually worked for what I had in mind, so more muscular textures could help close the gap in a BIG way. Adding either an extra muscular torso or human upper arms in the Robotic Arms category might also work, as well.
Still, a naturally larger, taller and more muscular female model would be the ideal solution.
Problem:
This isn't just down to the work involved in making a new skeleton. It also increases the cost of maintenance and development thereafter. If new animations are made, they have to be worked into four models instead of three. If new costume pieces are made, they have to fit four body structures instead of three. Both BABs and Jay have commented to this effect (if I remember right, and I may not) so my hopes for a new model are low (well, high, but I'm realistic), but I hope for a next-best-solution to do with base skin textures. And maybe giving women a naval.

Sam, I'd like to agree with the CO Muscle slider, but in truth; the only thing that slider is is different lighting.
I'll admit, I enjoy the body slider of CO much more than I do this game, simply because of the control it gives us over the character at hand, but that doesn't mean that it's the end-all be-all of proportions.
After all, we still have much better faces, considering the facial sliders for Champions doesn't change the fact that you've still got the same face as the next guy, perhaps with a bit of touch-ups here and there.

And by Obsidius' logic, I must be right since my join date predates his.
If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.
Black Pebble is my new hero.
Will this righter-than-thou logic never cease???
I might be as correct as TJ!
Rend this space....
I would enjoy a prehistoric romp myself.
Have Ouroboros go haywire and send Creys Folly into the Triassic era.
Dinosaurs have to be stopped before they spill into the other zones!
Or, have Portal Corp find another Earth, one where the dinosaurs became sentient. You could have a race of bi-ped dinos that are the dominant lifeform. Then lesser dinos could be used as guardianns, attack raptors, heavy lifting, riders...
I'd take this over new playable skeletons myself.

Though on a similar note... I think one way to skirt around this sense of lifelessness might be to have animal sound effects in various areas of the game, maybe like in some of the alleys of Kings Row you can hear cats yowling, in Atlas you can hear dogs bark somewhere in the distance. Actually, I think we already have this, don't we?

If I had to guess, I'd say it's something like:
"You made a tool to help with power customization, so surely that same tool could be easily adapted to (completely different thing)." Because having a hammer is a huge help when you need to do some neurosurgery. |
One of our programmers wrote a python script that parsed through power definitions, collected all of the animation/FX scripts associated with each power, dug in those and found all of the FX scripts and all of the particle scripts, copied everything over to a separate location (where they could be changed without affecting the original FX/Particle scripts) (...) |

--The Question, JLU
Over the course of several issues, we've seen the developers undergo and complete a variety of different projects that have been thought to be impossible to accomplish by the players and developers alike.
Power customization? Mission Architect? Going Rogue?!
All of these things are proof that NCSoft and Paragon Studios are cracking down on the features that they were not able to provide earlier, in order to make a better gaming experience for everyone.
Maybe, once Going Rogue has settled in, we can focus on quadrupedal skeletons? Canines, felines, wolves, and things of that nature? It seems like there is so much potential within this branch to add more animal-like figures. Some examples?
- Council using ravenous dogs as trackers.
- Devouring Earth using new models for stronger forces.
- Freakshow wanting to protect a kitten (because we all know that they love cats.)
- The Tsoo worshiping a gold-adorned canine companion.
- New Powersets with summonable animals (Control set, MM set, whatever. )
- Adding Temporary/Veteran Rewards for your own summonable dog/cat pet!
- Storylines involving animal rescue, to really touch the hearts of the community's animal lovers.
- Some real natural-feeling environments; woods, etc.
Should the developers choose to finally crack down with animal skeletons, I think it would be beneficial to the entire game. I don't know if you'd want to devote an entire issue to it, but if you did, you could just title it 'Paws of Justice' and be done with it.
tl;dr - Paws of Justice FTW
