So what difficulty do YOU run at?
I can solo the bm map +4, 8 players w/ my fire/sd scrapper. Bosses are a problem if they get past my soft cap twice in a row
I do not soft cap or IO out my characters, I just play the game and with that said I am trying to find the difficulty that each scrapper can handle. Have not had too many chances to try yet but the testing I have done has meant with well...failure. Just need to keep trying until I find the middle ground that my scrappers can handle; also does not help that I jump around alts so takes me a couple missions to "feel" the character once more.
Though duoing with my partner is fun when we enter a map FULL with mobs; having a blast.

I've been duoing my lvl 42 scrapper at +1x5
Right now I'm running +2/x4/yes bosses on my DM/SD and DB/SR, because I've been fighting Malta and am lazy.

On my MA/WP, he IO'ed for softcap, no purples slotted. When trying to get some purples or money I set it for -1/+8 no trouble at all, beats the Cimorian wall any day. When testing out my build +1/+5, thinking of actually upping it to /+6.

Been running paper missions in PI on +4/x8 (Malta, Council, Carnies don't pose much of a threat, Arachnos and CoT can get tricky though) on my DM/SD Scrapper
+4/x8 Council and CoT
Arachnos and Carnies at that level hurt like hell due to massive damage non-positional psi attacks.
But I'm dumb and keep going back for more.
Be well, people of CoH.

I've only had a chance to test it once with my DM/SR. Soft cap range with one botz KB protection and one obliteration quad away from aoe and melle soft cap. I did 6 x3 with bosses on the Tyrant mission. It was rather easy so ill be bumping it to 8 x3 with bosses until I finish the build. Then it will be 8 x4 Borea missions. Hmm... Timed missions with every mob pretty much being an RWZ challenge.

+2/3 for everything right now with bosses. Ugh the bosses hurts so good but man its fun though.

Trying to get purples so -1/8. When I'm looking for a challenge I go after 4/8 council, which I still steamroll. Haven't tried +4 anything else yet. Softcapped Fire/Shield with +30% recharge without hasten.

Running on +2/x6 on my Claws/DA Scrapper. Only group I had problems with, even with popping inspirations like made were Arachnos. Something about Defense Debuffs, Slows and Massive Damage just don't jive well with my Scrapper. Haha. I have trouble with Carnies only when they drop a Dark Servant on top of me when I don't notice. Once I respec her properly into Focused Accuracy and get a Kismet unique slotted, I should be in a better position.
Depends on what AT I am really.....
Brute: +2 x8
Dom: +1 x8
mm: +1 x5 (so far, more pets later = x7 or 8)
corr: +0 x6
stalker: +3 x2
Veat: dunno, not a fan
My 19 Elec/SD started yesterday with the Striga Arc at -1 Foes +4 Heroes.
At 22 and SO's he moved up to -1 +6 and at 23 gave it a shot with 0 +6. So. Much. Fun! Inspirations are burned often of course.
My DM/SD, Plant/Storm, Fire/Kin, SD/SS, Spines/SR and a few others have been running at +1 or +2 level +8 Heroes and it has been nothing short of a blast.
Seriously, regular content has been made fun again! Going into every mission to fight nothing short of an army is just awesome. (That and the new merit rewards for story arcs are nice!)
I've only ran a couple of radio mish set for +4/8 on my fire/shielder till I got sidetracked with my lowbie claws/energy...
Most of us were probably on Invincible before, but what are we now? I made an attempt at +4, x8 players... ouch. That's got more of a kick than the old Invincible (granted I was fighting Paragon Protectors). I settled on +2, x6 players. Not too easy, but not impossible. This was on my main, a near-completely IO'd (no purples) BS/WP. So tell me, Scrapper boards, what's YOUR difficulty?

Dark/Shield Build Thread
So far, I'm running my L38 Katana/Dark on +2x4 bosses, L44 Spines/Dark on -1x8 no bosses and L50 Dark/SR on +4x8 bosses. These difficulty levels may need to be adjusted as I get a better feel for things. I definitely like having control, though. Actually being scared of dying while carving through missions is a change. I'm finally finding a use for that "Dark Regen" icon that's been lying neglected on my power bar.

I've been playing my now 50 MA/Invul scrapper Shinbu Dragonheart, and I've decided that +2 / 8 man team / no bosses works really well for massive slaughter, provided I pick Council or some other enemy that is largely melee/smashing/lethal. I can wade into groups as large as I want... in fact groups so large that many of them just ignore me because of the aggro cap. It's weird to have that many enemies attacking you, and others standing a foot away with their back to you, acting all casual as if nothing's going on. ^_^
Haven't really played much with the settings on any other characters yet. I did dual-box for a bit today and a single radio mission full of Council netted me levels 21 and 22 on a spines scrapper on my 2nd account. Not bad. ^_^
(And then, because soloing /dual-boxing like that is boring, I played just the spines scrapper and gained 3.5 more levels on a regular mission team.)

my lil RWZ Challenge vid
been trying out 8 man +4 with no bosses on my Spine/Inv but find the kill rate boring, its very safe against anything that's not psi clockwork though. Will probably go back to +2 8 man no bosses, though with +2 the bosses dont actually take that long either.
Not really tried out my other scrappers that much have fallen for my Elec/Mental blaster again cause always get big enough groups on a team to make her worthwhile but I will once teams fall appart again

I'm running +1/x8 for my Fire/SD. Haven't logged into my other Scrappers yet.
