So.....what do you do/play during downtime?

The servers are in their unknown status right now, any of you heroes/villains play other games to pass the time? I play Left for Dead and my username is Beyeajus if anyone wants to get their zombie-shooting on.

I'm at work.

If I was home, I'd be playing with the dogs. It gives them such happiness!

I was on a Sims 2 kick in July, but I'm pretty much over that. When I'm not on the computer I have a PS2 (yeah, still.), and I've been playing a lot of games I missed during their original run.

I usually get caught up on my email, the forums, and working on the occasional video. Or I play one of the other games I have on my computer.

Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup is my current 'I don't have anything else to do for the next hour' fix.

Having Vengeance and Fallout slotted for recharge means never having to say you're sorry.

I've had downtime for a week because my ISP sucks. To pass the time when I get bored of websurfing I've been playing Rollercoaster Tycoon 3, OpenTyrian, and just reinstalled Half-Life...

At work right now

But if I was home I would be playing Lord of the Rings Online (Lifetime Member).

I've been playing Puzzle Quest (a PC game) but just hit the level cap.

I mainly play either Team Fortress 2 or Street Fighter 4 (both on PC of course), though on occasion i might play something else too.

I'm playing HL2 for the first time and some Rainbow 6 Vegas 2.

I just bought Mercenaries 2 World in Flames and TimeShift.

There are usually two sides to every argument but no end.

Everything placed above this line is always IMHO, YMMV and quite certainly not to be taken too seriously....

Dungeons & Dragons Online.

Usually during downtime when I'm at home, I play my daily dose of Animal Crossing. Yeah, I know that makes no sense for a 36 year old guy, but it feeds my collecting instincts nicely.

Me neither. Combat was generic, customization was a joke, and the world was about as immersive as closing your eyes and saying to yourself "It's a fantasy world! Really!" I once again resign myself to the fact that no game will ever be what Everquest was back in the beginning, though Everquest 2 got pretty darn close for a little while.

At the OP: I tend to play games in spurts. I'll play through something, switch to a different game, and then play through it, repeat ad infinitum. Big offenders for being played are Mass Effect, Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind, Knights of the Old Republic 2: The Sith Lords, and Ninja Gaiden.

Most of the time I'll either read or play Unreal Tournament 3.

Actions speak louder than Vets.

If I wasn't at work and the time being the OP's, I'd still be sleeping. Assuming unexpected server downtime during prime time, I'd reading the forums and perhaps playing Free Cell on the side. If the downtime was especially long, I'd do some Bejeweled-2 or Peggle.

Teams are the number one killer of soloists.

As for me...New schedule, so - Read a book, IM friends and bug them at *their* jobs, take care of shopping, watch a movie, catch up on sleep, all sorts of things.

If I'm not playing the game, chances are pretty good I'm sleeping or at work. If I'm neither of those, chances are relatively good I'm on the forums or the Wiki (or the Titan forums).

Other games I'm playing right now include World of Warcraft, D&D Online, Pirates of the Burning Sea (this game is awesome....awesome!), and I'm attempting to get my trial of LOTRO going but it won't accept my serial keys. *fistshake*

I don't have a console game system. I desperately want an XBOX 360 though, because I saw about 187 games at PAX that I really want to play and most of them are PC (got that one covered!) or XBOX.
