Is there anyway to get the Pocket-D accolade without me rebuying the game? Cause i bought CoH around CoV come out and then i bought CoV when it was $50 sepreatly. And since i spent $50 on it shouldnt i be intitled to the accolade?

Well, no, you're not entitled to the accolade because you didn't buy the specific version of the game that the accolade was a part of, which was the Good vs. Evil edition.

Thats kind of like saying that just because you bought a car you're entitled to a sunroof, even though the car you bought didn't come with one. And if the sunroof wasn't an option on that car when you bought it, you don't automatically get one when it does become an option.

You can get the item pack from Good vs. Evil seperately from the NCSoft online store for $10. That's what I did. It includes the Pocket D teleporter, the Jump Pack, and the Justice and Sinister costume pieces.

Sorry to tell you, but you will have to get the Good vs Evil pack. You don't get the accolade just because you already have CoH and CoV. The VIP pass is only in GvE. The good news is that you don't have to buy a GvE box. You can get the in-game item pack for $9.99 in the NCSoft store

edit: Looks like I was a bit slow in posting...

No. But you might be a bit entitled.

If you do buy GvE however, it comes with a free month of gameplay.

With a 2 second search, I found GvE on Amazon.com for $12.49.

$12.49 - Listed Price
-$14.99 - One month of gametime
- $2.50

-$2.50 is pretty affordable

Yes, you can get the accolade without rebuying the game. Just buy the $10 item pack.

Which is kind of stupid because if you buy the GvE edition you get a free months game time added in which reduces the cost of the game to $4.99 (or $2.99 if he buys it from Amazon as Nova suggested) which is cheaper than the item pack, and the OP wants to spend as little as possible.

The copy Nova found makes the net cost -$2.99, not $2.99

Yes. You don't need to rebuy the game, just the in-game item pack for Good vs Evil which you can get from the NCSoft store and apply to your account instantly.

Or find a GvE edition at a bargain store at Christmas time for $6.99 like I did for a cost of ...

-$8.

Too bad both my accounts already have the GvE goodies.

Gamestop is selling the GvE edition for $10.

What's weird is that when I applied the Mission Architect box's code to my account for the Cyborg booster I also ended up with the GvE stuff on one of my characters. I /bugged it.

I can use the costumes on that character, and for like half an hour I also had the PD teleporter & jump pack. I still have the badge, too.

When you make a purchase, the only thing you're entitled to is what's promised on the box and in the EULA. You already have that and you're entitled to nothing else.

If you buy a car today and tomorrow they have a sale and include a free DVD player with a purchase of the same car, you're not entitled to a DVD player. It wasn't a part of what you purchased. In your case, it's not even the same car, it's a different car/model year.

I thought the $2.99 was the shipping and handling for the box.

Do you realize that buying the item pack is more expensive than buying the GvE edition?

You get $15.00 off your sub fee when you get the complete edition, and if you buy the box game from Amazon or at a discount store the box is cheaper than the item pack.

I don't suffer from altitis, I enjoy every minute of it.

Thank you Devs & Community people for a great game.

So sad to be ending ):

Just so I am understanding this correctly

> I have a current account
> I purchase Good vs Evil retail box

> I can apply a code included in retail box to my current account that extends it by 30 days?????

So, in essence, if I happen to see 6 copies at $9.99ea on a shelf I should grab them and be paying $9.99/month for 6 months of sub time?

Thankies =)

No. An account can only have an edition applied once. So 6 copies of Architect Edition would mean you'd end up with 1 free month and 5 unused codes... so you'd have ended up paying ~$60 for 1 month.

Yes and no.

You can certainly add Good vs Evil and extend your time by 30 days.. but you can only do that for each type of retail code ONCE.

Buying multiple copies wont do you any good unless you have more than one account, or need some Christmas gifts for friends. lol
