No, I don't think that there is any chance at all the the Smurph would just keep the money. He's very well known around here, and he's already filthy rich. Also, since he posted about this here, there is public documentation that he is taking the money for a specific purpose. If he just keep the money, a gm could just read here, check the logs to see if got any large sums of money (and my 10,000 influence. Still waiting, Smurphy!) and see if he actually traded the bulk of it back to one of the people who responded in this thread.
He's not stupid, guys. He's not going to risk his account or his reputation around here or something he doesn't really need at all.

Isnt it amazing how a little game inside a game can actually be fun!!!
I don't know why I feel this way, but I wish the magical spreadsheet showed the dates the tickets were purchased.
Anyway supercool little distraction from the normal routine of the game, thanks for putting it together.
And I'm just gonna throw this out there, I'm a little bummed so much of the money is coming from blueside when everyone knows a redsider is gonna win it all.
