I'm pretty upset about not getting the NOTW. I'm not going to rant and rave about quitting but it is a big annoyance. I'm sure there are alot of people like myself that don't have time to play for several hours every single day to get the good rewards so when I spend an hour or more doing a TF to get something I need for an accolade or whatever I expect it to work seamlessly. I can only play a few times a week so even though I had fun it now makes me have to run another TF to get a reward that I should have been given already... that takes away from my time to do other things in the game.
I agree with the other person that said just reward everyone an NOTW and call it even. -
Are they planning on awarding the notice of the well to those that completed the TF or are we just stuck using more of our time doing another TF?
-
TYVM! I guess I'll have to use one of the 10 respecs I have available and play with him again! LOL
-
I've been away for awhile and while on a BAF last night someone was saying that burn has lost it's fear component. I did a huge search and have not found anything that says this is true. Does anyone know or have a link to anything speaking about this?
-
I have been learning about the Alpha Slot in issue 19 and since I'm just coming back from a long layoff I'm still trying to figure it all out then issue 20 come out and is just overwhelming. I have the basics of the Alpha slot down... how it works and how you make them. I've already got everything needed to slot the Cardiac Core Paragon save for running 1 more weekly strike TF to get the last piece. My big question is where can I find some detailed info on all the new stuff, all the new slots that have been opened up and what all the other slots are going to be for that I don't see unlocked with this issue?
-
I have a toon I'm working on trying to get the Cardiac Core Paragon and it looks like I'm going to need 3 more Notice of the Wells. Can i only get one per week or can I run the TF multiple times during the day or week and get the pieces I need?
-
I couldn't find the original thread and when I realized it was still there I couldn't delete it or the new one. Kinda felt dumb on that one. lol
-
I'm still working on this build and hoping to get some feedback or ideas on new ways to go but let me give you a little info on what I intend to use it for.
I intend to solo missions set at +1 to +2 for 8 heroes. I'd like to try and solo TF's as well. I will be using this toon as a farmer for my other toons mostly. I have a very aggressive style and will be using mostly Battle Maiden, Demons and such for my missions unless someone has any better suggestions since I'm old school, have been gone for awhile and missed alot and have catching up to do. I built this toon centered around around AoE attacks and defense to S/L through set bonuses.
This same formula seemed to work well with my fire/kin troller so I thought why not try running a Scrapper since I've never used one. I felt the combo of fire and invulnerability works well together and I am familiar with both but I'm also returning to the game after over a year off and alot has changed. I've already familiarized myself with the alignment system and the new hero/vill merits and the whole incarnate alpha slot thing. The first thing I noticed was that health and stamina are now inherent so that opened up lots of possibilities for me.
I will not be PLing this toon. I am currently running him through missions like normal and usually do not PL any toons but he will be used to farm for influence, recipes and such so I can afford to slot out other toons in the future.
I'll be getting the standard fare accolades like the TF commander, Atlas medallion, freedom phalanx, and the portal jockey and I'm going to work toward the Alpha cardiac partial core revamp for now.
I do appreciate any feedback or suggestions anyone might have.

Totally up to you if you need the set bonuses but I usually 4 slot them with 2 Nucleolus Exposure Hami O's and 2 End Redux IO's. Saves you 2 slots to put elsewhere and boosts the major parts you will need to boost.
-
Perfect! That was the info I was looking for. I knew you guys would have all the answers. TYVM from a returning player!
-
I appreciate the link but it only talks about the fact that you can no longer slot taunt enhancements into the power but says nothing about whether the power still has a taunt component or not. I like the taunt component personally and use it rather than take confront or taunt. I just want to make sure so I can make my power choices effectively.
-
I used to be very familiar with Invulnerable but after a year off and not playing it for over a year before that coming back I noticed that Invincibility no longer accepts taunt enhancements. Does this mean the taunt aspect is gone now or that you just can't enhance it?
-
I changed a few things in my build and hope to get a few more people to offer ideas on what I can/should change if anything.

I love knockback but I always say talk to your team to see if they do and in what situations it's applicable. There is nothing more frustrating then herding up 2 groups of vills only to have them scattered by some idiot with knockback on all their powers that has no regard for anything the team is trying to accomplish.

I'll be getting the standard fare accolades like the TF commander, Atlas medallion, freedom phalanx, and the portal jockey and I'm going to work toward the Alpha cardiac partial core revamp for now.

I like the Warshade. I made one awhile ago but never really got into it... too confusing at the time for me. I'll definitely look into that but keep the ideas coming.
-
I am back from a year off and I'm looking for something new to roll. Give me some advice on what to roll next.
I'm looking for something that will be able to solo large mobs. More like a Scrapper, Tank or Blaster since I haven't rolled many of those AT's. It needs to be surviveable against many different types of vills, good to great damage output and able to solo even to +1 level AV's.
I currently have a fire/fire tank, inv/fire tank and a spines/regen srcapper so if you'd pick one of those feel free to add in a build for me to check out. -
Very Cool! TYVM for the info. One last question is about the Shards... What are they?
-
How do you get this Alpha slot?
-
I've been gone for almost a year and wanted to know what some of you feel is fun to do in the game now? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

After looking at some build on the forums and my own experience with IO's on other characters this is what I came up with.

I'm returning to the game after some time away and I heard that Hami raids are different but I never hear them being announced server wide like they used to be. When do they get run now days?
-
When are the Hami raids held on Freedom? It's been years since I have been on one. Returning player here.
