Anyone ever try to farm with a fire/fire/fire blaster?

I have tried all the different farmers I know of over the years.

Fire/Fire Tank
Inv/Fire Tank
Spines/Regen Scrapper
Spines/Dark Scrapper
Fire/Inv Scrapper
Fire/Rad Controller
Fire/Kin Controller (both fire and stone Epics)
Rad/Rad Defender (although not nearly as fast as the above but still.... I USED HIM FOR FARMING!) lol

The bottom line is I've made alot of farmers over my 5+ years in COH. Now I'm wondering what other challenges are out there. It got me thinking... I love the fire powers! Why not try making a Fire/Fire Blaster to tackle Battle Maiden and such. With IO's and a few 4 slotted melee attacks I can easily get to 30% Defense and 65% Resist to S/L attacks and that's without me knowing the first thing about Blasters. If anyone out there has attempted this I would love to hear from you on the idea and any tips or build ideas would be greatly appreciated. Like what powers are good and which are worthless. This doesn't even have to be fire/fire/fire at all. I just like the fire theme and I'm more familiar with the powers for the most part.

Anything the community can offer would be greatly appreciated.

My fire/fire/fire blaster could pretty easily farm, if i wanted him to, hes built for just pure damage. If you are going to farm on a fire/fire i recommend getting the self rez, and slotting for damage and recharge. That way, when you die (and you will) you'll nuke everything around you as you get back up and take them back out.

I wouldnt get tough/weave, as the fire shield power can take the 3% def proc, and your better off leaning on melee and ranged defence. if you really want to play it safe, take hot feet, and 6 slot it with a multi strike, for the end reduction, nice damage numbers, and decent set bonuses. You best friend on a fire/fire/fire is damage, damage and more damage. Hot feet and RoF are your soft control powers, and really help out to keep things away from, so if your close to the ranged def cap, you can basically always stay in melee range, but never get hit by a melee attack (jump in group with hot feet running, drop RoF for added 'fear' and proceed to nuke away)

One of my favorite tactics is what i call a mini nuke, its BU>aim>fireball>jump into group>fire sword circle. Group dies, just like i hit inferno, and its up alot more often, without the end crash. And consume keeps your end up while your running hot feet, and your resistance toggle. If you really want to go overboard, you can get blazing aura, but i found hot feet to be much better *bigger radius, more damage over time, and the slow/fear component will save your tail ALOT*

Just my 2 inf.

Wow. I want a fire/fire blaster now!

I made one awhile back, but I didn't really like it. I deleted him and went with a fire/energy blapper instead. Now I wish I'd stuck with the fire because of fire sword circle.

I do a warrior farm 0/8 no bosses with my electric/fire blaster. I ran hero stats on my most recent run and recorded over 1200 kills/hour. The timing was started from inside the mission and stopped after exiting. With no bosses I rarely die. If I turn bosses on it is noticeably slower and I probably die about every other run. I am not in front of my pc so I would estimate that I have around 35 S/L def and 20 ranged def. No resistance and 1550 HP thanks to accolades. Hot feet and ball lightning make up for most of the damage. Hot feet is just slightly higher. Combustion comes next in the damage department and then short circuit. I originally ran it with FSC instead of combustion. I think combustion is better though because of the larger radius and quicker recharge. It seems to me that the Elec/ primary could pretty easily be replaced by fire, rad, or archery. Going with a more cone based primary like AR seems like it would be counter productive due to the circular pbaoe nature of /fire. The reason i like electric though is because of the 2 large radius aoe/pbaoe's and no cones. I just jump dead center into the mob and unleash the carnage.

Just in case you are intersted in the build. Skipped all the holds and snipes. Streamlined for def/damage. Also skipped the nuke. The time it takes to retoggle and and click your blue pills would probably be longer than it would take to kill the mob without the nuke. Plus there will likely be more than 16 mobs so your nuke wouldn't kill everyone anyway.

It doesnt get better than fire/fire in terms of pure unadulterated damage. However on has to patient as you will die. Alot. I think I got every debt badge on him very early.

That being said, he was my first 50 and an amazing force.

My 50's:
Fiya Man: Fiya/ Fiya/ Flame Blaster -Protector
Ethros: Dark/Dark/Dark Defender - Protector
Ja-Ja: Fire/Kin/Earth Controller- Protector
Shadow Flux: Fortunata
Daily Forecast: Fire/Storm/Mace Corruptor- Infinity

I farm with a fire/mm/force and he's a beast. Slotted for max recharge bonus (192% w/ hasten), I can kill them all before they kill me. So much more fun than a FireKin or a brute farmer.

Anyone have any builds to throw out there?

I used a Fire / Mental to super effect, Purpled and softcapped to S/L it had perma drainpsyche and didn't need stamina

only issue was lack of immobilise... I like my farms to be tidy. So immob is a must for me.
