Opinions on what Hero to roll next?

I am back from a year off and I'm looking for something new to roll. Give me some advice on what to roll next.

I'm looking for something that will be able to solo large mobs. More like a Scrapper, Tank or Blaster since I haven't rolled many of those AT's. It needs to be surviveable against many different types of vills, good to great damage output and able to solo even to +1 level AV's.

I currently have a fire/fire tank, inv/fire tank and a spines/regen srcapper so if you'd pick one of those feel free to add in a build for me to check out.

Katana/Dark Armor Scrappers can be extremely survivable and chew through most enemies without much difficulty. i don't have any builds to give since i never really did a good IO build on mine. Never really needed it and have been focusing on other alts lately, like my Fortunata and WS.

Speaking of Warshades, Dechs' suggestion of a MFing WS is good as well.

I like the Warshade. I made one awhile ago but never really got into it... too confusing at the time for me. I'll definitely look into that but keep the ideas coming.

Forget a Hero and roll a Brute. Its a Scrapper and a Tank all in 1 body. And then if ya still miss blue side just change alignment.

A Shield/* tank puts out a good amount of damage for a tank. Against all odds is your Taunt Aura with a very nice helping of +Damage. Couple it with Super Strength* for Rage and go to town.

*I actually HATE Super Strength but I do have a Shield/Stone Melee tank I love. All the foes go "bouncy, bouncy" around me

My Kat/DA Scrapper likes chewing on most groups as does my BS/SD Scrapper.

I also have a warshade but I do not have her IO'd out quite yet so I cannot compare her to the other two. However, she is a lot of fun to play.

Yeah you have to IO out the Warshade to make them effective. Perma-Eclipsed, doubled mired Dark Nova is impressive. The term Tankmage comes to mind.

The first step in being sane is to admit that you are insane.

I really like my DB/DA Scrapper, minus the knockback...which is sort of fun to watch anyways.

DB is like watching a blender do ballet!

Also it does have an AOE component which is good for mobs.

I like DA, and allthough you need to manage it more and toggle different things during different battles occasionally it does do things that other sets don't offer and is close to the Warshades powers only it will give you the satisfaction of melee if you are craving it.

A Night Widow is also sweet. I made a Hybrid with melee and some of the range attacks. It's offensive/support sure, but it's not support in the classic sense. It's just brutal! Think Spines, mixed with DA/WP/SR and stalker stealth, with DBs PbAoe abilities. For kicks, make a second build with Fortunata skills. Essentially you have two different toons all in one.

Emphasized is completely untrue. On SOs alone, you can get Eclipse to a reasonable uptime, and you have dwarf to compensate for the rest of the time you might need it. It becomes difficult to slot all of your powers for everything you want, but a SO'd warshade played right is still a sight to behold.

I detail this kind of stuff, particularly how to build a warshade on SOs, in my guide.
