Blue side, Victory, Wednesdays at 8PM EST... you get the idea!

Since Cryptic mysteriously ran out of Lifetime subs I'm probably down for the next version of Isos.

So, what's everyone rolling up? I don't think we'll launch post-I16, but I could be wrong.

Depends on Issue 16 Launch.

Pre-I16 launch I role a Fire Melee/Dark Armor Scrapper. I've basically already made this character but haven't taken to time to level her. Just too many alts. She's only level 6 so re-roleing isn't to big a deal.

Post-I16 launch I role a Electric Melee/Dark Armor Scrapper. This what I'm really excited to level up for Isos. I really enjoyed my Electric Melee/Dark Brute, but I just don't enjoy red side enough so she' still stuck at level 42.

While we're at it, I have two requests going into the next Isos.

The return of the List
Weekly threads. I didn't really like the whole "one massive thread" thing.

SI Radio has many DJs and listeners whom hold City of Heroes close to their hearts. We will be supporting many efforts to keep CoH ALIVE!!

But, we do get Mental! Stop toying with our heartstrings, Mental! Hmmm, Champions site is still down today... wonder what happened.

As for me, I want to run in the next with you all, but I am once again not sure when I'll be on CoX. My current subscription runs out on the 3rd, which is next Thursday. I don't get my first paycheck until a couple more weeks into September, so it might be until then. Or later.

At any rate, I'll try to get in on the next Isos with my Sonic/Sonic Defender, The Golden Howler (previous connection to the Goldbrickers, yes). He's sitting at 12, so hopefully I can exemp him down for the first session (if I'm around), and then follow normally. He's got some fun powers, a good concept, and I like debuffing resistance, so it should be a safe bet for a fun Defender. One of them has to stick at some point, heh.

Will likely wait until post i16 to join. Will very likely go with the traps defender to complete my set (I've got 8 of the 9 current primaries done right now with a force fielder at 48) and I want one of each.

I would vote for, yes a list, and weekly threads are ok, but no boiler plate info on every post.

Things do feel buried and less of an "event" without an individual point. Weird, I suppose, but that's how it feels.

the list sounds interesting.

as far as what I'm rollin. I'd like to try the WP set thinkin tank need to find a secondary to go with.

I have one ready and waiting. She's a bubble/grav troller and her name is VooDoo Bunny. But it just wont be the same if Voo isn't there

Oh, there will be a List... have no worries about that!

As far as weekly threads go, we voted on it and One Big Thread won out. We can do a revote if you want. Since it's unclear whether Voo will be joining us, maybe the OBT option won't get as much support.

Sooooooooo jealous! Always a big dream of mine to complete one of each defenders too. Got sidetracked trying to have 1 of each AT first and my corruptors which out number my defenders (at 50).

Maybe one day.

(Oh, good luck on the next Isos, wish I could play earlier on Wednesdays, but RL gets in the way.)

That was for Champs Online Voodoo. $200 and you get a lifetime sub to the game. They ran out of them last weekend though.

Yup... they "ran out" of an intangible item, which is to say they sold as many as they could afford, and shut down the deal prior to the previously established end date.

If I had a Lifetime sub to CO, I would have been playing it and therefore not had the time for Isos. Since I didn't make it in time, it's On like Donkey Kong.

Wait, so if you were able to pay $200 up front, you would be playing CO, but since it's $15 up front now, you won't? I realize it *could* be a savings, but only if you're on for over a year... you might be better off if you get tired of it in a month or two. And I'm still not sure how playing CO and COH at the same time means you couldn't have done Wednesday nights with Isos.

I wonder what math they used to decide what amount of lifetime subs was okay, and what line made it too much? I would have to think almost any number is a best guess on their part, but I'm no accountant/economic whiz. Still, while I know lifetime subs are an attempt to draw people in and get them interested, it still feels like the developer saying they don't have confidence in their product. I know there are stats showing that most players of an MMO drop out after less than a year, but that's still my gut feeling on it, especially after how long I know some people have played MMOs like CoX.

I will only pay for one monthly fee MMO at a time. I have a Lifetime subscription to LOTRO, so I play that on occasion, and when new expansions are released. I wasn't really considering CO if I had to pay per month, but once I heard about the Lifetime plan, it piqued my interest. Now that I can't have that, I won't be playing the game long term.

Unsurprisingly, they did, so I got mine. I'm wondering if I got played, but I'm not caring so much right now.
