European NA server players

I'm Welsh, and I play on the NA servers. I was wondering if anyone knew how many Eoropeans there are on the NA servers.

I would if they would only turn the option to transfer back on and let us transfer supergroups (e.g. ridiculous amount of prestige over several years, not really replaceable) too

The lag on the EU servers is disgusting lately, it never used to be like this, and I know it's not just me because everyone complains about it on the same time even on global channels. It's been going on for weeks now and there's been no announcements or anything, it's like this is supposed to be expected as normal service or something now (maybe something to do with the vast amounts of controllers on at all hours doing god knows what (korean goldfarmers) in mission maps - or just something to do with the new architect stuff like the server or whatever)

I have a US account and usually I alternate between EU and US servers, when in US servers, I play on Freedom but as I already have slots full there, might try Infinity sometime. I'm currently subscribed to EU servers for now, but might return to US ones sometime, it's the problem of having favourite chars both sides of the pond.

their intelligent yet snarky replies to the annoying whiner types are worth leaving broadcast channel up nothing shuts up an ignorant little basement dweller then a zinger that goes over his head. you Brits have taken insulting people to a whole new level, an art form really, it brings tears to my eyes.

At the behest of a friend I downloaded the NA version back in 2005 and joined him on Pinnacle. With the release of CoV I found myself on Virtue and I've been here ever since.

Yeah I've a NA account, it ran out last week. I think I'll renew it when GR comes out.

Back in january when us EU players were basically modless and no-one was telling us whether the servers were staying up or not [remember the forums that week? Boy it was dangerous!], i made a US account and played for a month or two.

However quite a few bad experiences with players who found out i was from the EU made me switch back here. I was just very appaled that simply because i was from the EU that my experience/knowledge of the game was not as important as theirs

Now since the merger i must admit i am VERY pleasantly suprised of the general friendlyness of both sets of players with eachother and re-activated my US account, however i do only use it for purely pvp basis since their sirens call actually has players in regardless of time

Hi, I'm a german player and I play on both sides of the pond.
My NA homeserver is Virtue.

I used to play on both EU and NA servers up until the past week, now my EU subs have come to an end I play on the NA servers permanently.

I have not found any problems getting teams normally and have not had more than 1 or 2 bad experiances from these ex colonial types, in fact my global list is full of decent players who are up for TF's etc most of the time.

At the moment I'm on Justice and Protector a lot at the moment, but have good set ups on Freedom and Virtue as well, as well as at least 1 decent alt on all the other servers.

I have US account put let the subs run out about 2 months ago. I subscribed when EU servers were having major Lag issues.

I'm quite happy on the EU servers at the moment. Had fun on the NA servers. Might subscribe again when GR arrives.

Im an old Eu player who quit 3 years ago and opened a new US account with the help of a trial account and the purchase of an online copy of the US code. Only here until sub runs out to play with some online community friends I met for another game.

It is unfortunate we cant move characters, inf and enhancements. Belive it or not Lodestar left totally minted with inf even though I gave out millions and 3 HOs before I left. Ironic when you think on it. I could have sold those Hamis now and used the inf I had to buy the ones I was after.

As for the quality of US community I have to say I have had no issues really. I met some very friendly people for the most part. Mind alot of them have noticed my team search has "Rusty old playing looking to get back into game TFs very welcome" and have asked how long I been away. Maybe telling them been here since I4 is enough to keep them quiet. But as I say seems fine as far as community goes on Virtue server.

I would if they put the transfer back up.

I really, really wished they would merge defiant and union that would solve defiants teaming issues and a transfer to the american servers maybe wouldnt even be needed anymore, to bad some union players are against this as they are afraid to loose there "precious names and/or global tags".
Of course they, being from Union, have no teaming problems.

Not to mention we only have 2 english speaking servers compared to the 8(?) us servers meaning we would only get 12 free slots if you joined them. No dice!

German player, only ever been on the US servers. By the time they actually decided to do Euro servers I'd already made too many social contacts to move.

i've been on NA servers since about I1, i didn't know there were EU servers at all, and i made a lot of friends on the NA servers anyways.

I'm in Italy myself, kind of wish I switched over to the Euro servers when I had the chance, if only for that badge. In the end though, Infinity has treated me pretty well, only the usual teaming issues due to time zones.

In the old days all info about CoH in my country was always linked to the CoH main site (not the UK one). So the majority of dutch people i've seen are playing on the US side, where i also initialy started.

I use EU to pl my own characters, farm in peace and test builds. I use US for the TF's, easy invites and just running around buffing people. Defiant is a big issue now, apart from a few lowbies in Atlas its already hard to get a decent AE team. (yes, sue me).

I loose alot of inf because of the US-EU tranfering, the only way doing so is using the AH. And since the prices are only going up due US side, EU cant just sit back and take it easy if you want some nice IO's.

At least give EU people the choice to move over, instead of locking them out completly. The limitation? Client difference, since they made the 2 languages part of the server.

I'm @minotaur, and have been around on the NA servers for 61 months or so. I have 150 or so toons across all servers on one account and am a serious altoholic.

My main home has been on Victory ever since I found eurocore (www.eurocore.org) who I now lead. We are a group of European players (mainly UK, Dutch, Swedish and German) and a few from other places who play at Euro friendly times.
