The main reason for me is that we in Oceania need to run our own supergroups, and organize our own events. It all comes down to timezones. I hope that having a separate section will help to strengthen the community.
Based purely on the numbers of posters, every day is NA day for organizing events etc. For example, see how this forum exploded while I was sleeping away.
Well now we know.
Also, gratz and stuffs. I left a fishy clip somewhere around here... consider it a house... err... forum-warming present.

I think footy for Aussies means rugby. I've been known to be wrong occasionally though.
I don't care for the split-up boards either, myself, not just the one for "Oceanic" types but the Euros either. It all fosters a sense of little groups, not a community. To me, better for people trying to organize some time-specific event to note the time zone, if it's that limited a thing. But hey, if people ask for an enclave, who am I.

I think this section's a great idea, as said it's a place for players who are regularly are online around the same time to announce events, look for SG's, chat about local topics, etc.
I'll still roam around all my usual subforums but this will be another to drop into from time to time.
