Desmos! What game is that avatar from, and if it's not from a game, what is it from? I love it 
On topic:
I've had a few looks at this Twitter page and, aside from me never understanding what the point of things like Facebook, Twitter and all the other garbage icons you see on each blog everywhere, it seems that a lot of it is filled with personal comments. I know it might make me sound like a jerk, but I'm not interested in other people's personal lives,friends and strangers alike, and I sort of liked our old Dev Digest and how it collected mostly game-relevant information. I still skipped developer comments on movies and celebrities, but there were a lot fewer of them.
If this Twitter page is indeed the future of the developer's digest, or even just its replacement until the current developer's digest that shouldn't have been broken in the first place and should have been fixed as soon as it was understood to be broken is fixed, then I would appreciate an official address with an official link to it posted somewhere on the forums.
One thing I'm going to say - it makes me feel a LOT less close to the developers and a lot farther out of the loop when I can't find developer comments on the forum but through trudge and kludge. Developer commentaries ON THE TOPIC OF THE GAME always gave me a sense that these guys really do care about us, really are working with us and really do want to make a better game. Maybe they still do, maybe they don't. I don't know and can't know, because I can't find their posts.

If it's really an issue, someone could always create a "RedTweet" thread and re-post all of the tweets to the forums for discussion. Kinda silly thing to do but you'd be certain you weren't missing out on learning that Positron just made his 100th tweet or that he's leery of catching a cold from BruceHH...
Besides, most of the devs who post on Twitter originally got there because they were trying to fill the gap left in their souls by the absence of the forums during the merge. They're as addicted to the community here as we are...

As long as the more substantive, game-related (or for crying out loud at least GENRE related) stuff is here.
I don't need to know that a dev is making a certain type of sandwich at a certain time of the day (leers at War Witch's twitters).

I'm going to stay out of the "I don't get Twitter so I hate it" argument and say that if there's any Twitter profile people in this community would do well to check in on every so often, it's CoH_OCR, used by the community team.

I really suspect perception of the lack of Dev posts are a combination of the following:
1) Inability to find the posts without the dev digest
2) Lower volume of posts because the dev's are hard at work on i16 and have less time to read/post on the forums
3) What time the dev's DO have to post on the forums is being spent in the i16 beta forums.
I know that on the old boards that I would not have seen even 20% of the dev posts if I hadn't been able to look them up in the dev digest - so without that it certain feels like they are posting a lot less, although I have seen numerous BaBs and Castle posts. I certainly hope they are devoting more time to i16 - I would rather have that soon then see a lot of dev posts.

I don't understand why this is "so bad".
You don't have to like Twitter, facebook, email, fast food, bunnies, scented candles, bottled water, going on walks next to the beach, taking care of your body, taking care of your friends, roadkill, litter, dusting, mountain biking, smores, etc.
But OTHER people can take part in any of that stuff.
I like Twitter - it's harmless fun

I ended up getting on Twitter just before Comic-con so I could follow what was happening there and give tiny updates from the convention.
I think the devs need to see this before it's too late!

Now my searchfu is severely lacking combined with defunct dev digest, I can't find this information anywhere on the forums that isn't linked back to Twittter. I'm probably jumping the gun here, but I'm not liking this trend.
Now, whether the info was posted on Twitter or here first I don't know.
