Typical i have day off and what do i get when i log in, the servers will be coming down for maintenance in 30 mins 
Heres me looking forward to a fab day off work, playing my little scrapper and beating up the bad guys.
I guess ill just have to turn on my PS3 and go Rockband for a bit till servers come back.

That's dated last Tuesday, though. Surely we would've had the patch applied during the normal Friday maintainance?
ETA: Also, checking the US forums, the US servers are down for maintainance at the moment, too.

AE fixes usually just means AE doesn't work, without bringing down the entire server. Unless they're doing something of the nerf variety.
Pity they don't have a way of warning you while you're in the architect working on your mish (crosses fingers and hopes for autosave).

Grmbl, Just came back from a weekend with loud music, alcohol, little to no sleep and way, way to much sun (got sunburn on my nose )... I was anticipating a relaxing afternoon of gaming and now both my MMO's are down for a good chunk of the day (EVE is down aswell for a patch).

What is going on here? Test down, servers down, no word from anyone.
If techs are up doing maintenance surely some community operator should be able to say something either over there or over here.

EVE Online was patched and upgraded today -- notice was given about the upgrade last week and all during the update this morning, customers were kept updated on progress and got told the process would take an hour longer than expected.
Stealth upgrade, if this is actually what the maintenance is for, is very odd.

Just had a 30 minute warning of maintenance in game... its not i15 (I'd guess), its not in the normal maintenance slot so what is it and will the servers be offline for a while?
