From 11am to 12am is 13 hours not 1, if it was 11am till 12pm that would be 1 hour. 
Anyway, I wouldl like to know the times on EU servers, if they are gonna be at same time or adapted to our zones.

From 5pm BST on April 28th to 5am on April 29th (I think), converting the time zones.

Sigh, although I'm usually up at 2AM yet again the EU is getting screwed over or is appearing as little more than an afterthought to the US game. before anyone says anything, i KNOW the main playerbase is in the US but you'd have thought they could repeat it in the MOTD or have it a little earlier so EU players can stay up.
Very unusual that an 'event' is only for one day though.

Well i however have significantly less. I agree with Dr T with the omg it looks like the EU player base consists of ADHD children at the moment who if they are not being held and told how great they are 27 times a minute, then the they will throw a temper tantrum that nobody loves them any more. The initial post was rude and offensive to not just US players but those of us on the EU servers who do not run around like a headless chicken at even the smallest perceived slight to the EU player base. A quick look in other threads will show EU players made the same mistake, what should we do with them put them against a wall and poke them with sharp sticks?

So i gather you want me and everyone else on the EU boards to be insulting and prejudicial with your "don't knock it untill you try it" comment.
Any yet you want the developers to turn up here 24/7 and give you respect. Hmm i see a problem here.
If you don't see a problem with this then i believe that the idea of an EU community is beyond hope and that the proposed board merger cannot come soon enough.
