Turns out that BaB actually tried posting here. Before my time, sadly, and he left because of the majority being...inhospitable.
General feeling of Meg: Increasing.

Not inhospitable, more questioning. We just wanted some answers to some simple questions. Since BaB was unwilling to say anything on the points that people raised and instead skirted around odd things. People got annoyed. Post where made, post counts went up. BaB fled for the states.
War Witch doesn't post on here like she used to, and she got a very warm reception.
Also on the point that FFM made about why he doesn't post as much. I too find myself posting less on general threads as I have been leaning towards bitterness and it just makes me sound like a whinning pomme. So instead of constantly posting negative posts, and belive me some things I have been going to post were very negative, I have posted nothing.

Actually, the only questions were people asking if he really was BAB, as he didn't have a red name when he started posting, as Bridger was asleep at the time

True that she usually gets a warm reception, but a little false to give the impression that she's ever been a regular poster here.
A couple of years ago I pointed out that she only ever posted in bursts and hadn't been seen in a while, and all of a sudden she appeared in a couple of posts over the next day or two then vanished again...
You can see many of the devs post histories by viewing their posts from their profiles:
War_Witch (95 posts in total, last posted start of May last year, after she'd attended the Easter Omega Sektor event in the UK)
_Castle_ (14 posts in total, again sporadic, last post february this year)
Positron (total posts: 2, neither exist anymore)
Ok - we're a small section of their customer/user-base, with an even smaller number who'd give him a hard time, but 2 posts from Posi isn't exactly trying hard...
Even Statesman managed 69 posts before departing from CoX (and, IIRC, the announcement about the IP sale was Nov 6th 2007).
BTW - Whilst States was held by many to be the type of person to keep away from the public, he did the smart thing re: EU boards by posting in threads that weren't game future/mechanics related... So he'd post in threads about comics and HP Lovecraft in the culture boards - that makes it easier to appear like you'll come to the EU boards without needing to get bogged down in arguments over the game...
As a side note, War Witch does appear to pop in to read the boards (or maybe just PMs) every now and then without posting. It's been a few months, but she certainly never used to browse anonymously and I've seen her pop up on the who's online lists every now and then.

I really, really hate my keyboard.
Unfortunately, being a laptop, I cannot mutilate it without killing my only way of playing CityOf...
Although, feeling of being Meg in Family Guy? Might be somehow similar? It's a possibility.
Either that, or 'Meh', as it was meant to be originally.

All it means is that we don't get the anniversary address on the actual anniversary.
But to those who say we never get anything before the US, we got the anniversary first! Perhaps not the celebrations and events, but we got the actual DATE first. They were still on yesterday when we were going 'yay, anniversary!'*
*or whatever reaction anyone at the time happened to have such as 'man it's late, I'm off to bed'
Oh, I'm not moaning about not getting stuff first. I don't really CARE about that... But why time it so that most of the EU won't get it until tomorrow? They could so easily give the info during their morning, our afternoon. Is that really so bloody hard for them to do?
