Very good and for the first time I was part of a group that took down the Winter Lord.
In fact for good measure I took down 3 of them over the event period. I'm proud to say the 2nd and 3rd ones were both where we (wife and I) rushed to the aid of Heroes stuggling to take them down and broadcasting for help, very comic booky!

It was fun for me. Got two badges (one for WL and one for killing too many snow beasts) on Apostle. I've never been a badger and surely never will but hunting around Atlas was a good fun.
Also had furry boots on some characters as i've used that missions to level up instead of sewer run but as usual i deleted them. ^_^
So in short for me Winter event is another fun event to get socialized.

I acquired an almighty number of... 15 Candy Canes! That's a beefy amount right there >_>
I was determined when the event started to get a ton of candy canes and save them up for my other/new toons down the line . . . . . . . . . instead i went after merits 
And WL was farming FFM toons? Pics please! (o/j )

I got loads of candies. Bought with it a few of those fun recipes with it and more badges. I sold candies for say 10 million inf on some lowbies who could use a small inf boost. I can navigate the hot spots for candies on PO and Atlas in my dream now. I busted Snaptooth so often that in the end he just handed baby new year over to me instead of arguing about it. I even farmed WL for merrits! Lowest amount of villains to bring one down was 4 for me btw.
Plus I got ski slope badges. I made bronze on the new slope! Still zero at the old ones but i am not a complete ski slope break a legger anymore. Still a break a legger but hey.
All in all, i had fun this winter event. TO bad flying around the city I am missing those buzzing boxes of goodiness. I am sure they should be there, i even see them. I swear.
You know... I didn't run the Baby New Year mission at ALL this time around... I'm sick of the thing! New mission plox!

Thankfully i only really needed to gain the advanced ski slope badges for my badge toons, tho i did want/get the Redcap/Tautha badges for my Corr as well!
All in all another great winter event, always my favorite of the year!

Don't be knocking the candy canes! I started a new character over christmas who, for some reason, very rarely opened a naughty present. She got a jingle jet out of about her first present! Very useful on a level 3 character. By friday, she had 12 candy canes and she CH'd them. That was about 600,000 Inf, on a sub-level 20 character. I'm not complaining.

i divided the winter event between two of my toons:
my DA/SS tank got all the badges, cossy pieces and other winter stuff + some 15 mill. from selling candy.
i made a new DB/nin stalker during the second weekend of december and made all the badges + cossy + naughty aura (at lvl 8 only to find i couldnt use it before lvl 30 ) + more than 30 mill from selling candy + some 30 lvls.
i'd say i had a nice winter event

So another Winter Event has come and gone...! And I find myself with the same problem as last year, rotten teeth, due to the inordinate amount of candy canes I collected.
I'm not much of a farmer, infact I personally hate it, but grinding is a different matter altogether...
Anyhow to cut to the chase, after opening over 1500 presents during the Winter event (all solo I hasten to add)... I personally received the following...

43 Mystery Gifts
18 Snowbeasts
15 Snowballs
5 Stocking Caps
and defeated 2,649 Frostlings.... ranging from -5 Greys to Red ones. I only once attacked frostlings that were stupidly lower, as wanted to get the Cold Warrior badge fast on the very last morning.
I also collected 88 winter related badges across all my characters, and I'm proud to say only 1 was a ski slope badge. I was so bad at the new course that I gave up pretty quickly, even on my badgers... best time was aganisingly close to achieving the lowest one... but not quite as I missed it by .15 of a micro second....
Anyway, how did the event go for the rest of you???
