Defiant Trick or Treat Extravaganza

Hey All,



We tried this last night on a small team and would now like to try it with as many as possible. The plan is to converge at the Ferry in PI. We will need as many 50's as possible. At 8pm we will start to trick or treat as many doors not killing the spawns but moving onto other doors as we slowly make our way down the streets of PI heading towards portal corp. Upon reaching the gates of portal corp we will gather to the right (as you facing portal corp) side of the wall by the guard tower. This should allow a massive herd to form of Werewolves, Spirts, Pumpkin Heads, Vampires and Witches. We will then defeat everything we have herded and hopefully people will get badges they have been missing.



This is advanced warning that this will be happening in PI at 8pm tonight. ToT teams should ideally be full teams as they generate more mobs on the spawns. Remember everyone can click doors in a team. If you need a team please arrive before 8pm and broadcast that you need a team.



If anyone does not want to run around a corner and see a massive herd running towards them, we will be broadcasting intent of this Extravaganza before we start giving ample time for people to move from the main routes from the ferry to Portal Corp, or to climb a building to watch the fun.

I was on a team of 8 and we tried this in PI last night, again on a smaller scale. It was total chaos but also a lot of fun, one problem though - everyone experienced serious lag issues and when a zombie invasion happened the game was at a virtual standstill.

To make it a true extravaganza, we need a team to do the RWZ TF and hopefully spawn an invasion on PI, another team to pull things off Monster Island, and a third team to do Crimson's arc to spawn the Kronos Titan, and for a zombie invasion to happen on PI at the same time, and as many people as posisble complete/accept missions that trigger ambushes

Yeah. Mind you, everyone on Union that RPs doesnt really like them.
I will refrain from calling it 'Deviant', but repeated attacks on RPers ain nice. Hmkay?

That said, I do hope things go well. I sounds like a mental idea, and thus will probably be quite fun, if only to watch
Maybe have to try it Union...if we're not all busy RP'ing

I crashed about 10 seconds after that thought.

Thanks to everyone that turnt up or took part spontaneously.

A special mention must go to Belenus for coming up with the idea whilst bored at work.

The event went really well, apart from lag I have posted some screenies but the mobs that you can see dont look very much but as u moved forward more and more kept getting drawn. I had spotters on the roofs that said mobs just kept coming down the main street. Mobs kept turning up to join in for upto 10 minutes after we had all assembled at Portal Corp.

Sorry to any innocents that got caught up in it, but I did give warning in broadcast.

Ok I gotta say this was fantastic and I had a lot of fun.

I know Tuarus and I haven't often agreed on the forums but I'm more than willing to give props for this.
