Other characters I've seen in game where names with Pheonix something, or something pheonix. Or the Miss, Ms, Mr, theif and other spelling mistakes.
On that topic, I once got flamed for spelling game boy color as game boy colour. All I can say in defense is that I was raised with British English in class (not native obviously).
Since I meet a lot ("alot" anoys me, even though I somtimes misstype it 
) of people where I work, I generally assume anybody who comes up to me must know me, so I automaticly say "Hi mate" then furiously try to remember who they are 
Well, lucky me. I've never had the habit of calling people mate. I always get this weird feeling that when someone calls another mate that they're consenting to a mutual mating ritual.

Ahh the good old Raised Inflection. I remember a teacher of mine in Sydney who left after a few weeks because all of the students (it was an adult college too) would laugh at her for her stupid voice. I got used to the kids doing it, but a full grown woman should have known better!
I remember my first toon was called Mr Toxedo, I got laughed at in Atlas "lol dude u cant spell!!11". I then popped his Spines out from his Tuxedo, and they went "ooooohhhh" *cue facepalm*

And I work as a secretary so my spelling has to be top notch all day and have to spell things like hyperlipidaemia and hypogonadism so i give up caring when tpying messages in game and on the fourms!
