This is probably where you are going to get more RP out of me than anything else that goes on. Its not that I have a dislike for GG/PD meets and want away from them, far from it, they serve an important need for the scene.
But I am of the firm believer of that line in Matrix Reloaded of never truly knowing someone until you fight them, or in this case with them.
I would have signed up for the RWZ meet the other day but I was helping out other GG'ers in Croatoa arcs at the time. That was OOC but was still a cracking team and I enjoyed it.
I did do some RP missions with Do Lo Might on the weekend though IC with DPS Girl, Josh Stormcrow, Sam Hunnington and Fanservice Girl and that was great. It was because of those IC missions that I strongly believe it led to me interacting with other characters in GG that night more than I have ever done.
So I'm all for it happening more often and will sign up in the future. Forum would be natural place to set them up, although for me personally, it is getting to the point where I am more likely to be contactable in game than here. If I am not logged in the game then I am usually busy with something else and can't guarantee that I can check the forums as much as I would like.

I'd definitely be interested. I rarely do TFs any more because of the way people race through them as fast as possible and I miss all the story. IC missions or TFs would be welcome.
Yes please! Talking around the statue is nice and well, but this is a super hero game and I love doing more super hero stuff.
As Eleven mentioned I teamed with him for a few missions and even if DPS (now renamed Leandrea v3) was forced to stay mostly silent due to Josh and his cameras, it was still quite a bit of good fun. Just us three slapping AVs was a lot more interesting than the 100th same ol' paper mission :>

I have the final mission of the 'Upon a Psychic Plane' arc, where we face off against Giovanii... wait, that was the 8th Gym Leader in the original Pokemon games. Giovanaa... Giosomething, in any case!
Now, with the RWZ mission I did bend it a little away from plot, mostly because I wasn't sure if it had been done before. For people who -really- want to put Doctor Vazhilok and others away once and for all...
Well, keep watching this space. 
I'd be more than up for any more IC missions and stuff, and will try to arrange them when I can!
Same here. I enjoy IC arcs, special missions and tfs and it's also good to meet roleplayers outside of my usual suspects.

Well that sounds like a seal of approval.
I figure that anyone should be able to advertise here, regardless of what story arc or TF they are doing. Ill be looking to set some up shortly, mostly hero side but some red side ones would definitely be on the cards too at some point. Id like to think that they will be a good meeting ground for new contacts, IC friends and coalitions. Im no stranger to standing around and chatting but I do like a bit of action too.
With regards to the very fair point that Zortel raises, the whole question of exclusivity is one that is going to bug any roleplayer in this game. Im happy to leave it up to the participants to figure out how theyre going to explain another hero claiming that they zapped The Clockwork King an hour before them. For me, I tend not to talk about in game achievements in an IC way outside of the actual TF itself. If I then meet that character later, Ill acknowledge that they met and fought together but I try not to go into any detail otherwise youll get people arguing over who really rescued States from Tyrant all the time.
As for advertising, it might be good form just to post the TF/Story Arc details and their level range so people know what theyre aiming for. I also figure it might be a good idea to include an IC hook if you can come up with one, some reason why this bunch of heroes are ganging up for the greater good etc. It could be something as simple as a distress call put out by the PPD, or the characters individually contacted by the contact thats giving out the mission. Again, Ill leave that up to others to decide.

With regards villains being smushed by other heroes.
The fact is I've always viewed the CoH archvillains/heroes as 'recurring baddies in a super hero cartoon' sure you beat them down this time but they will always pop back up for more. Recluses plan to use the web failed this time, well surely the next bunch of heroes aren't going to be as tough so he tries it again (this is comic book/cartoon logic working here).
So yes you may have defeated the Clockwork king an hour before me but when I got to him, he'd fully recovered and was right in the middle of another dastardly plot.
An even easier method is to simply ignore the TF info all together and say it was a different plot by the same villain. Those towers powering up Recluse aren't using superhero powers he stole, they're focusing the pure will of the Gods themselves into him, making him stronger, faster and tougher.
Villains/heroes can and will bounce back...it's pretty common.

Elizabeth has learned of a powerful ancient artifact that can enhance her dark abilities. It was found on the Rikti homeworld and brought to their Chief Historian who now wears it himself. His name is Hro'Dtohz. She and a few of her Court will go and grab it of his body tonight (you're in Eleven with Tower?).
But Hro'Dtohz also became the Rikti war leader... she will learn during her attack that he is working on getting to full rikti army to Earth. Vanguard has send some of the roaming recruits (heroes/villains) to him in order to investigate what Hro'Dtohz is doing.
The Court and these recruits meet in front of the facility...
lvl 45-50 Rikti War Zone... One big mission on Relentless/Invulnerable.

ICly, it will be on a tip off to The Amber Banshee by her Fae cousins but there's no reason that the contact wouldn't have warned others of the danger. I'd like to start meeting at the contact from 19:30 and start at 20:00 prompt if we have enough people. Further details are as follows:

I'll be around on Monday if you need a spot filling. Best toon I have in that area right now is Steel House, level 34 Scrapper that has been doing a lot over in Croatoa recently anyway.
Might be strange for Steel House, a technology based, command driven AI machine to be teaming with someone magic based, but then again that sort of diversity could make things interesting.

Hello everyone.
Following the rather successful thread on Zortels IC RWZ Team, its got me wondering: how many people out there would like to do more IC TFs and Story Arcs? I like to do Trials etc in character but I do know that some roleplayers find these anathema. However, if you were to give me the choice of an IC team or an OOC team, Id go for an IC team every time.
In short, if more IC Trials, TFs and Story Arcs were organised, perhaps through this thread, would there be people out there interested?
