Let me know which you prefer, and am happy filling a slot in any of the teams.

PLEASE people, even if I'm not joining this one!
MAKE SURE you read the guide and come prepared. There's no way to explain it all in chat once you're there! You have to KNOW what to do once there and be prepared!

I'd LOVE to see hami go down again, but if 40 people show up thinking it's a fun thing to do to get a HO, you'll end up just like previous teams. You neeeeed to read the guide, the whole guide and nothing but the guide! Trust me!

Well, don't trust me, but read it anyway! ...and bring a 50!

too bad many of you didn't show up !

We could have needed more healers/buffers/debuffers.

The raid went bad since we didn't have a good plan.
and it will be some time before i organize a new raid.

Spiderling

U need half of the server population these days to organise a hami raid, and not half of the server population has 50s according to certain figures bridger gave a while ago, informing that only about 5% of the players had a 50 . Add to that that among those of us that have 50's, most think the HO is not worth the time and the boringness involved with actual hami raids, and you find why last organised raids on union and defiant have been unsuccessful

Unfortunate, but predictable.

I dont turn up for this reason, why spend 2 hours on a raid where i might get a HO when i can spend 2 hours farming, get my second acount some levels and deffinetly get at least one good recipe i can sell for alot. and 12+ million influence.

And this is why Hami needs to be looked at, the reward for time spent is just not worth it, you can do a sft/lrsf to get a hami now plus influ/infamy/prestige.

Its a shame that a once a good community event is now dead

I had 43 show on /sea just before we started.

It was frustrating, but we haven't exactly done a lot of the new style hami raids, so it will take a bit of getting used to. Lessons get learned the hard way it seems!

I'm not keen on the whole inevitable dieing thing just to have a chance to succeed. Personal opinion, not very heroic or rewarding in my book. The repetitive guaranteed respawning as well with no chance of overcoming it with initiative, as was mastered in the old style raid also puts me off.

Not too interested in fueling a old style/new style debate necessarily but just my views.

For what it is worth, I enjoyed the community spirit of the old raids and targeting using my toon Odins Son. I may have been one of the more rewarding roles on offer to the 100+ people that used to attend but people did overall seem to have fun.
