Do you have any info about the teamspeak server we'll use? I'd like to test it in plenty of time so I'm not fiddling about trying to get it working 5 mins before starting.

Most TANCers couldn't give a fig for Hamidon, tragically, but they might think differently for the new one. I reckon we've got about 2-3 who'd be up for it. I certainly am, at any rate. I have, as always, approx. 1 bazillion toons at your disposal.

I'll have a go too, I am pretty sure the SG are planning a States TF thing for the weekend, but I am hoping to get that done tomorrow night.

I'm certainly interested, not sure I will be able to get all orders by teamspeak not being English my native language, any chance orders through request channel or something?
Dunno if with the new raid a scrapper needs more orders than in the old one though

My 2yr old Mind/sonic daughter permitting, I will be there. 
You can count myself and Mrs. Sparrow in and I know a number of other Goonies have been keen on the idea of regular raiding come I9. We have TS and a ready supply of Jaffa Cakes.
Though if I get yet another Damage/Range I may well cry

I'm really up for this , tho most of my higher toons are spread across a few different SGs.
I don't suppose anyone has an idea of the better support types for this ? , i have an Emp or Kin defender which may or not be useful, or perhaps a /ff troller ?

I'd be really up for regular Hammi raids however is the teamspeak thing an absolute must? The wife already looks at me funny without the need to don a particularly old dodgy looking pair of headphones.

Can't speak for the rest of Gooniedom, but I should be able to chip in providing the raids don't end up running on Sunday evenings every time. I'll get teamspeak working somehow, though it may be a bit laggerific.
I was meaning to respec Maelwys anyways... will probably make him into a yellow mito tanker since the US have found flying /regens with resilience do fairly well at it. Or I can always break out the ol' Sonic Defender... 
As you can guess by the title, I'm trying to put together a super-awesome dedicated raid team for the new Hamidon encounter. I'm hoping to make it up out of 5-6 SGs who are all prepared to attend raids relatively regularly (although not WoW style YOU MUST ATTEND EVERY WEEK AT LEAST OR WE'RE NOT LETTING YOU JOIN AGAIN - I really don't want to lead raids that often and I'm sure that most people won't want to turn up that often either).
So here are the requirements:
-You must have teamspeak installed (get it from here.) You do not have to have a microphone, you just have to be able to listen in to the orders that will be being relayed over TS. The request channel will be used to let the leaders know if stuff is up so that we can keep TS as quiet as possible.
That's about all I can think of for now. It's way easier to organize this if I talk directly to SG leaders who can then organize actually getting their guys to the raid on their own forums or whatever, since that way I have far fewer people to organize. If you're on your own, though, I won't turn you away or anything.
So, if your SG/group of friends/whatever is intersted then either send me a PM or reply in here and I'll get some more details sorted out. If the rumours ARE true and i9 goes live this week, I'm hoping to organize a raid for as early as possible (most likely saturday). Defiant has to be the first server to do this! We can't let the Onions beat us again!
