Sounds like a good idea. You can design your own npcs in MA with their own text etc. Those missions are instanced, bases could be the same.

I did both the hard way on my badge toon. I logged in a 6:30am every morning before work to catch the flipping contaminated in the train station. I met the person who said they had tried the same at 6:45 never to find him there at a show. I didn't admit it to him at the time :S

That took several months.

Then I joined a team that did reformed in BB. It took us 8 hours on a Saturday and another 3 or 4 on the Sunday. I won't be happy about it's removal seeing as I spent a whole weekend on it. And to be fair it went well beyond being fun into pure mindless grind.

I think they are wrong to take it out.

I might mention me running the last old style Hami raid on Defiant at this point :P As well as two others before it.

My controller has them in all her primaries. They are much better than IOs for getting the holds on, no other secondary effects, but that's no bother.

My PB got to 50 a couple of years ago, it took some pain... a lot of pain.

This was before the quants and cysts were reduced a bit. She is tri-form, with no power pools, it was the only way to have enough slots, so imho a pure PB. The only time I had trouble with her really was when I had to solo cysts (light form is great for this). I could normally manage it with only 1 death. But I can totally unstuck on the mob with a void and a sapper. That was just cruel!

The only complaint I had was that she is a little dull to play, and as such rarely gets used. And that the new villain ATs seem to be really popular and whizzy, whilst the hero ones are frankly still a little pants....

See you at the next show guys, you'll have to come stand the other side of the counter and actually get to see some of the other stands!

I have really enjoyed being a part of this community and attending events. Totally due to the efforts put in by you guys. Good luck for the future. I hope we still manage a twice annual meet up!

Soloing AV's is hard work with a Grav/Rad, almost impossible if they are over your level, especially if they take out your pet.

But they are great controllers to play in a 50 team, the mix of the hard holds and debuffs are pretty useful, and once slotted up right seem to work a lot better than other 50 controllers for team play imo.

Callista = Lvl 50 Grav/Rad.

I thought you could earn up to 5 respecs from doing the trials? If you just do one again you should get another.

It had to be Milla, I didn't base Callista on her in the first place. But Callista was very slim, lithe with exceptional tone, cold blue eyes and an angular very eastern European looking face (she is half faerie after all) .... Recently I was sat watching Ultraviolet, and I realised how much she fitted the picture I had in my head. It was one of those revelation moments, so yes, Milla is almost exactly how I originally wanted Callista to look!!

Now I need to convince her to have purple pig tails and pointy ears in a film........

EDIT: And of course very pale skinned, Callista doesn't tan.

I have to agree, I thought it was fairly well advertised. I knew about it and my highest hero on union is 33....

Give me another 2 months or so and I may be close to coming along and helping out next time. I know that is pretty slow leveling but it is just another alt

Actually I think my characters will be bizarrely unaffected. Lilit is too young to understand what a war is all about, she will view it as a part of growing up, kids can be resilient like that. Callista who sees everything in black and white (psychologically not literally) will see this as a job that needs doing no different to stopping normal crime. In her eyes you are either Bad or Good. There are no degrees of badness. So for her there will be eight to fourteen hours a day of 'CALLISTA SMASH' then home for a bite to eat and a nice chat with her friends.

Why not rad for zones?

For solo PvP in the zones you probably don't want to be a controller at all. A scrapper or blaster would be the normal choices. Some people have done well with very specialised defender builds too. For Arena controllers can do pretty well one on one, with ill/xxx normally kin or rad being the favourites.

I love my controller to bits for PvE and I enjoy arena fights (she is grav/rad) but I gave up on zone PvP ages ago, it is not so well balanced for solo, and also not so good with teams even.
