Teleport Foe is available to everyone but Peacebringers.

[/ QUOTE ]
Yet again, we're not complaining about people running, just people running into the safe zone. TP Foe doesn't work against characters within the boundaries of the safe zone (at least not for your faction). Have you ever actually PvPed in Warburg, because you seem to be missing the entire point of this thread?

[/ QUOTE ]
So they're inside the safe zone all the time?

Use it to pull away from the beach before you start attacking, do it smartly and they will be disoriented and not know where to run to.

As for being a newbie to Warburg, I PvP'ed myself to a nuke earlier today. Does that answer your question?

I have to laugh at the people who is the zones go on about being bored or do fake *yawns*.

Do they think I am here to entertain them? Stop them from getting bored? They think I should put on a jesters costume and do a little dance?

If they find something boring - their problem. Its up to them to make their experience as interesting or as dull as they want.

I can say in all sincerity, I would not object if you were to do that, Bob.

I'll see what I can do then

You see what I mean about *yawns* though? A yawn is something you do in real life - we are not even sure why we yawn in real life, there are quite a few theories which I won't go into now.

Why doesn't the person just say what the want to say? don't they have the courage or ability to come out with it directly?

I enter the zone to make it as boring as possible for them by killing them with ease over and over again. Quickly and efficiently. Its their job to make it otherwise.

[/ QUOTE ]
Go there and see for yourself, don't just take my word for it. Usually, they hover around the periphery of the safe zone, run in to fire 2-3 attacks on a heavily damaged target, then bounce back into safety. Essentially, they're untrappable most of the time.

[ QUOTE ]

I don't know where you get the idea that TP Foe is some all-triumphing strategy, but as both an early user of TP Foe in PvP (since the arenas first came in), and someone who's been TP Foed repeatedly, I can tell you that it isn't. For a start, most travel powers will get you far away from your TPer before you can get your first attack off, and that means they'll probably be at least halfway back to the safe zone - and that's presuming you've slotted TP Foe with 3 Range.

I spent about 4 hours in WB in total yesterday getting nukes, and mostly helping others to get nukes - didn't see a scrap of PvP in the entire time I was in there. I've seen /Dev Blasters Telemining their way to nukes, but I wouldn't consider that PvP either. Are these the answers I was supposed to be coming up with?

I'd have to agree and say TP Foe isn't all that. The times I've been teleported 90% of the time i've escaped unless the person teleporting me was really well prepared and had already laid down quicksand or something to stop me jumping/running away. Its even more useless if the person being teleported has teleport themselves and can just point and click to get away (no running required). I get teleported alot mainly because I've buffed the rest of the team consistently with Increase Density and I'm the only one not covered.

Oh and never try and teleport an Energy/Energy Brute because you just can't.

hehe, i wondered when you would pick up on that and though we did all seem to be enjoying a game of gank coston in the beginning there was only 4 of us Also while they may have decended on you en mass on the field I did seem (from my perspective only) to be the only one who was actively chasing people for conclusion.

But yeah when we got 8 it got v dull, i went solo briefly and the gank-ganking was less than fun

Try in a different time slot?

It's the only way (other than organizing an event) that easily changes who is there and consequently how things play out.

Women find a way to counter. Such as teaming with a stormie and pwning everyone who happened to walk by

Due to the hours I work, I'm always in on a different time. On the rare occasions more than one or two people are in there, I see the behaviour I've described - be that in the early afternoon, evening, late at night, or 3 in the morning.
