There's some that would say that; but you need to be in close range of a Orange group of mobs or a Same-Side Drone to use it 'effectively'. It also doesn't work in water.

Oh and expect a LOT of abuse thrown at you if you do get it to work.

Whilst it can't be used with AS, thank god, it can be used in conjunction with Knockout Blow, Total Focus and all your other little heavy hit/heavy hold blows, so don't feel too safe....

Remember, it's almost unresistable and puts you toe to toe with Mr. Brute...

Incease Density and one of the Force Field buffs prevent it, too.

I wonder if anyone's ever found themselves in a game of tp ping-pong, where they're being tp'ed in by enemies, then tp'ed back to safety by their own team...

I certainly wasn't a perfect day to return for a last stop by sirens but neither was it bad for me.

Maybe it was cause it's been so long since I've been back 'in the game' so to speak and I mostly kept to solo play and I was neither in it for the bounty or rep just a good challenge from some of the vets which I certainly got.

It certainly was good for me in the sense that I got to fight some peeps I've gone against or teamed with so many times before.

I think it was a case of a bad beginning and it snowballing from there like obot said. I didn't pay the bad chatter on broadcast any attention though and being a solo corrupter without any kind of stealth or invis make it hard to catch much of the fights/tactics as you constantly have to be on the move.

Not to steal the thread or anything but would just like to thank all of ya that I was fighting against/with, you know who you all are. Thanks for rekindling old memories

I've used it before, and it's like Stalkers. Not really fun, but DAMN is it effective.

Was in there late on with TG and co, to be honest I don't spend a lot of time reading local/broadcast chat. Got one hurtful (possibly) comment directed at me but not sure if it was meant as a joke or not. So didn't respond.

To be honest I am in PvP for fun, soon as the fun stops I leave, if I'm getting grief from others wether verbal or physical ganking I will leave. I don't go in for much of the trash talking, I find it all a bit silly to be honest.

Will be back in tomorrow maybe, so you can come and kill me again.

Normally thats someone who wants to annoy/taunt you, but has no material. The "stop whinging and go to the arena/leave PVP/come duel me" response has been around since the early days, only it crops up more now with the usual hum of stalker-annoyed banter, people cursing because someone interrupts a duel they never announced, or someone trying to do more than taunt over broadcast.

Although, as for the PBAoE-user hugging, I think thats fine. Some of us simply dont have enough stalker defense ability to survive for very long without help from someone else, and arent willing to invest in multiple powers just to be able to fight them. To some, its as necessary as stealth is to the people they're trying to protect themselves from :P

I was there late, but yet again, I didn't see anyone there - I'll have to try again earlier tomorrow - I want my first kill, dammit!

It was very different today and I am sure I contributed to it, I entered the zone which was pretty spartan of heroes and a friend swapped sides to join me, no sooner than he had logged in than he was TPd out of base and ganked. This in itself put my back up and then they tried to tp me. I advised them not to do this or I would form a team they wouldnt like. Hospital TPing continued so I swapped to my warshade and droned anyone within range. I am sure those who know me will affirm my total dislike of base TPing and droning so for me to get the red mist up to the extent where i myself indulge in this practice is not regular occurance to say the least.

So I rpoceeded to keep the hospial area clear till my "squad" arrived when i got onto my controller and we pretty much laid waste to the land, it wasnt fun and I didnt enjoy it, someone was acting like a jerk and I projected my "annoyance" onto others.

Its a shame because it should ahve been a great day with lots of people in there and it actually boils down to one jerk base tping and snowballing from there as far as I can see.

I was certainly in much more of a "seek and destoy" mode then usual and apologised to many in game for my less than laid back attitude today.

devs should either remove it (from pvp zones) OR only allow its use 100 mrts out of of its range for base tp-gankage, e.g. say if tp foe has max range (3 SO's) at 500 mtrs, then if u go within 600 mtrs of a hero/villain base it should be greyed out, wuold stop droning/base tp'ing completely, AND i wont go mega insane shouting at people

i agree that TP out of hospital should be impossible, by the way when you die you have some seconde of invulnerability no? so if you are in hospotal.. hummm)

for base i suggest thatevery time we go in base "to flee for exemple ^^) we again are unable to PvP like when we enter or when we die it would protect from base tping and would break the bad habit of figthing nearthe base and flee near drones every time.

to finish TPING near a drone SHOULD BE IMPOSSIBLE !!!

Well in one way I am glad it was not just me who picked up on that.

Regarding the hugging AoE stratergy.

Your all totally right I cannot really complain much about it. But when it is done well and for a long length of time it can get massivly frustrating. Pretty much all day that tattic was used to great effect. It was more an under stress comment than a sinceire (Spelling that word is awfull) comment.

But never fear I will be back in here later today.

If you get caught in a CoT prison cell the doors stop you from teleporting, surely the devs could add this to drones making it impossible to Recall, TP Foe or Teleport within its range. Hospitals and safe zones I would think have enough drones for the effect to cover the whole zone. Outside of bases areas TP Foe is a perfectly valid tactic, and is no less sporting than an AS or stacked holds, or instant healing.

But your right, TP'd into an instakill isnt a fun way to go down, the reason so many people complain about stalkers, and prolly why I wont overdo it.

I was the mate of Bottys that changed sides and got repeatedly teleganked from the hospital. It didn't really annoy me, tho I couldn't see the point as they were getting bugger all out of it apart from extra air for their egos.

I was also one of the claws stalkers once I swapped back. And yes I did use focus on you TG several times, it just felt good to be able to hit you for once! Having had my poor MA stalker mashed on so many occasions.

I don't get angry in PvP any more, it just isn't worth it. The past year has taught me there are far more important things in life, but thats another story. Trash talk ftw!

PvP is part of CoH/V, and CoH/V is a GAME. Lets enjoy it for what it is.

Fyr to clear it out i wasnt referring to you since depite the heated fights we always had good laughs there is a specific person i refer too.

I enjoy dying or winning and i always applaud awsome fights and people that dont give up or come up with better strategies. A stalker the other day level 20 kept trying while 9 heroes were on him to lay a hit and find a tactic that would pay. Kudos to him.
