Lack of survivability I would have blamed on the Willpower set.

And yes, I do actually prefer Tanker sets having a "Juggernaut" appearance... attacks that makes you feel like weight and brute force is put behind.

I personally found the Dual Blades set too Scrapperish to be used as a Tanker... so rerolled my Willpower Tanker with Super Strength.

Could someone link me to that Perfect Zinger set? I can't seem to find it on Red Tomax's otherwise marvellous site, and that psionic damage on Taunt chance intrigues me quite some .

Flurry happens to have the highest damage of the power pool attacks available. That's pretty horrible, alright. The only negative thing about Flurry is the long rooted activation time (especially if you miss).

If I remember correctly, I took Flurry on the Private in an attempt to relive the glory of Sands of Mu, and while it truthfully failed to deliver, I've always enjoyed Flurry. Would probably still have it if I didn't get rid of it while respeccing to a more PvP oriented build.

Earth's Embrace also has a recharge of 360 seconds, just like Dull Pain and Hoarfrost. You're probably thinking about Healing Flames with its 60 seconds recharge, which doesn't increase the hitpoints though.

Earth's Embrace also has a recharge of 360 seconds, just like Dull Pain and Hoarfrost. You're probably thinking about Healing Flames with its 60 seconds recharge, which doesn't increase the hitpoints though.

Most Def sets are, I know I felt the pain on my EA Stalker and my SR Scrapper. Def really shines when you get multiple shields/SO's, nothing like beating on a mob and hardly being hit while your res based friend starts screaming for heals.

I'd say it's just you. Yes, regular Stalker damage is fairly low, but slot your attacks for DMG and use plenty of attacks from hide (automatic critical hits y'know)... plus you can't claim Assassin's Strike is low DMG
