Well although the villains got thrashed at least we can say we have a solid defence for the base. Seems our downfall was comps bubbles and midnights hurrican, that and small tight corridoors, spaces = pwnd.
As for koth i belive i could have done a better job for the team still trying to get used to using the numpad binds for mm's so that i can keep some botts in defense while the others attack. Also forgot to load up the old teamspeak doh!
Although it would have helped if i was 50, those two lvs do make a difference in terms of my minion and lt botts lv's cant hit a target since they are -2, -1 lvs below me also found a large amount of my attacks missing too :/ As for a MM's and tanking, even with a vast majority of the opposing team going for little me i could out tank em 
which was the real shock all i need now is a taunt, me thinks presence pool can be used to take advantage of that and stop those who wish to take out my botts instead.
Also need to get my hands on that shield power too

The only good tankin MM would be /dark one, so u got lucky 
I only use guard when firing of my Arrow-chain, after that most mobs cant even stand up to hit me and my pets finish em off.
As for PvP, a AS (or critical BU->headsplitter) can blow your lowest pets to nearly dead already, 1 power more and you loose them already. i'm not sure if guardmode still works once you get hold, in that line /forcefield would be minor bit better, though he has no heal. (bots/FF would seem best, since you have 2 healingbots).
Provoke is a single target, challenge is a little aoe one. Tough both have tohit check and have very little duration.

Yeah ive been held a few times with my MM and bodygaurd mode still works. I know that if you get dissorented, stunned, held or slept the pets will stay active under the last command since you cant order them to do anything while under these conditions so if in bodygaurd mode they will stick with that. Always fun telling them to attack somthing, then getting held by a mob but not worrying about it since the pets carry on attack and take off aggro for ya

MCX thoughts on the base raid from any1 else? it does seem the hero base was harder to infiltrate this time. ON THIS NOTE i would like to say thankyou to those who stuck it out and sorry to those who felt they had to leave, i know it sucks losing, but we need the practice as we are far from uber, VERY FAR, even me, i only duel usually. A CLASSIC EXAMPLE of why we need practice is 6 heroes not joining the raid event, now i know its cool this time, but things like that are bye bye IoP later and not only IoP... but bye bye months of prestige to fixc the base if it is knackered it live raids, i dont want any1s hard work wasting away if possible .
MM was almost good in KotH but we do need a tank i thinks, empath would help no end and i think the troller is better than the MM but not 100% sure mcx, as for tanking u could take both taunts, although the AoE one may draw too much aggro, u need to test it, or get both, taunt is killer in PvP and PvE as we know.

Some awesome teaming over the 2x XP weekend, thanks to all who lackeyed me and sorry to those i didnt get to team with, truely fun when a group is going, i hope that this makes us want to play as a tighter unit and get levelling groups going more often , but remember to read ur arcs and take breaks, dont want an unhealthy/mindnumbed sg!

I have 24 characters, offcourse i'm not all gonna put them in the OotCS. Sinergy and Mace are sg-less quite some time already, just gave them a home for the time being. Mace still is due for its respec, wich i cant seem to finish well, Sinergy is merely around for a SS-TF and a little help on missions.
As for the helping part, even though i have several chars in the SG, doesnt mean i have to be 100% loyal dedicated to the SG. This SG, actualy its leader, is very new to CoH and happen to be dutch-speaking. We kinda agree'd we would lvl some tonight, happen to be same lvl.
Then fyi, the 2 chars i lvl with that SG happen to be in OotCS and Coin's SG.
Then the whole fuss with the Infamy, wich i clearly explained several times that i make 1 toon for my funding of my alts. As 'group goals', everyone has personal goals too, mine happen to be creating my alts from scratch. Work for my infamy, afterall its my choice of making so many alts. Also, this mean the funded characters will be in SG-mode most of the time, that some are not in the SG is due the SG is full.

i cant tell anyone where to put one character, nevermind 24 of them, but each player is only 1 person, and until now, Sin, G, Mars and more recently MCX, and of course myself, have always been one SG type people, i think it's more the change of the norm that bothers me, not that you would put toons in other places, for people like keith and coin i see how and why it happens, although they are not leaders in the SG, and this is part of the reason, amongst various other things.
Sin and Mace are only 'SGless' as far as i understand it in the same capacity as a handful of my own alts are not in SGs, when they are played they get added, this is what we have been doing. as much as it is a pain in the [censored] it is the only way to be efficient, i never ask the 50s or the mains to leave, but we cant secure places for over 200 toons without losing out on base related content, which i would personally like to promote and i also thought/think that it's important to a lot of the SG, i would love to see a large base with 5 IoPs pushing mez resist and xp rates. Like i said, its more that you, Sin, dont see things tehe way i do or understand what i mean sometimes, and i just dont want to see things falling apart due to split loyalties, 1 reason i dont spread my alts around, i have too much on with the 1 SG, its like what do i say to Dreamer when she is on Emily with the LL and i need an empath badly for something and they need her to blast or something, i have always tried to avoid situations where these decisions have to be made, and as a joint leader i feel i cant spread myself too thinly.
On the new player front, its great to see new people, if i personally meet them and they are cool i try and get them interested in the SG, i would rather do that than try and divide my time, something I know im personally incapable of. As for the language, i have almost never felt that you being dutch got in the way of anything, ur english is awesome and i wouldnt mind if people babbled all sorts of languages in the sg chats, i do it dar kand sender if i get chance, but hey i suck at languages compared to them, u, spider and egen. cambo must find it hard being from the other side of the planet tho .

inf/prestige issue we have had out and i've said fair enough, although if u want to make one toon to 50 solo thats cool, but if ur alts dont matter then let us help if u need it i've never been too proud to ask for some help, hell i'm one of the crappest players we have, for sure.and we already covered the not in SG topic, alts or mains or 50s or whatever, if you, Sin, or anyone else, ha access to 2 accounts and invite privelages on both accounts then i dont see any realy problems. as a rule people need to be more on the ball with their alting, alts are good i wont deny, but burning away prestige is frustrating, at best, for me and many others im sure, when we would all like to see results over weeks and months, not months and years. all said and done i dont plan to leave any time soon, love u all too much, stroppy as i may seem : / .

TIME FOR MORE BASE RAMBLINGS!!!
OK so: we have lots and lots of prestige now, just under 3 Mp on CoH and about 3.5 Mp on CoV. THIS IS TEH AWESOME! WD ALL! but how to spend it i hear you say? well, my initial plan (and i iwil do this if no one bothers to talk to me about it) is to install an Autonomous Expert System (AES) in place of the main frame and a Turbine Generator in place of the basic Gen (CoV arcane equivalents), this will put us in the region of control and power output we need to permanently have all tp pads up, a few crafting tables and enough left over to run some weapons!!! woooo etc. prob is, hero side we have only 1 room that will allow only 2 defences, on CoV we have nothing. secure rooms are uber expensive compared to the standard ones, although a secure plot is 11 Mp, this means defence capability in all rooms, but obviously we dont have that much prestige, and arent likely to for a few months (if we are on a plot that costs 1 Mp and want one that costs 3 Mp we only have to pay the difference btw).
so my point is, what do we want, do we want to head towards a larger base with less defences, but enough control to power more work stations etc, or do we want to stay on the current plot and try to start to go less decorative more PvP/raidish? personally im thinking same plot more power more defences etc. also do we want more storage (we can have a bit more yet but not too much more), im talking enh storage.. which leads me to my next point...
ENHANCEMENT STORAGE TABLES
great job by some of you, really putting yourselves out by adding TOs to 20, DOs to 30 and SO ASAP (all as you see best fit though really), it's nice when i look through the logs to see that people are actually getting some use of the enhs that are added. what is NOT nice is 2 things; 1stly that some people are not adding anything to the base storage, not ever. "WHY?" i hear you say, well i dont know tbph, i understnd that on some teams you dont want to break from the XP and dont have time to get in the base, but surely once per log in isnt too much to ask, just the SOs or DOs if you're lower down the levels, on this same point, you cant possibly need the inf.. we have bajillions on heroes and millions on villains. 2ndly, and this really does my head in!, i do check the logs of who takes what from the base, and mostly its all good, although i notice sometimes people seem to think it's ok to take from the storage but never add, i find this to be more true for the enhs than the salv, we are damned good with the salv hording, although i see only a half a dozne names ever adding enhs. if you dont want to add any enhs to the base, please let me know why as there may be some perfectly good reason, or maybe there isnt. this leads to my next point
SG COMMUNICATION IS [censored] POOR
i know more people read this thread than post on it regularly, i'm not totally stupid, although i do practice daily, I want the quite simple feat of everyone reading the thread at least once per day, and if they play less than once per day, then once per time they can play, its pnly fair. 'BUT WHY?' i hear you say, because the MotD IS NOT LONG ENOUGH TO COMMUNICATE 600+ MAN HOURS PER WEEK OF PLAYING! Abu is pressing to organise more SFs TFs and trials and i am trying to, with the help of everyone else, but when people dont know about it, it wont happen. so comments like 'did you see that thing we are planning for thursday' in sg caht are most welcome. For those that think its too much to read, why do you think we don't have a forum?, if you want a lot to read then we can set one up and you can get truely lost, its hard enough for a handful of us to run an SG without people not paying attention (as i so often do with keith lol). which leads to my next point... If no one can be arsed to read the thread who doesnt anyway, is there any reason we that do shouldnt get a forum with a front page, would make my life easier tbh, although i am REALLY trying to keep it to one thread so that people can play the game more and have to read less.
THE ARCANENESS OF THE VG BASE
right, well as u may have noticed the VG base is far from arcane, i propose trashing all the tech items and remaking them as arcane, this will cost no extra prest although we will effectively lose tech salvage (no biggy imo) and will have to use more arc salv. any objections/better ideas please let either me or mcx or another leader knwo so we can hear you out. the only plan for villain defs so far is 1 whole sapper by X, so please dont make any, but you kneow not to make stuff already right, cos u read that post ages ago about it
