ok then... IMPORTANT UPDATE
a week or two ago i spoke to a friend who many of you will know (and said i wouldnt name names here) about taking over their SG. its a proposed merger, but the SG we have means too much to me to drop etc, its a tough choice for them, as i know i wouldnt drop our group for anything, we can do what we must with our core i feel, but i also feel in this time of hardship for bases, we really should become sometihng special. The SG in question is sound and would bring a base of 10 ish or so solid ppl i think. the plan is to have a meet up on monday at 8 pm UK time tho, email both Plight Trawler and Plight's Bane if you have any questions. I'll update as apropriate.

btw, what this will mean is the 2 toons per person will be stead fast and unlikely to change, anything beyond these 2 will have to be alt sg members and will not count towards our main base, so on this note let me know if u dont want anything like the propesed idea

Good to be back on CoH and CoV is better than I thought it would be, mind you I'm only level 6 so far.

Regarding PvP, which I thought i'd never go in for but actually enjoyed. Mind you, it's a bit easier when the enemies keep falling over whilst getting their rear ends roasted.

Do we go after Cruciform member's as well or avoid them?

Just that Deddmeat used her usual PvE tactic on Captain Righteous a couple of times, totally by accident like.

we tend to fight anyone off first, so that we can batter eachother in peace, but if anyone asks you to stop, stop please. if anyone else asks you to stop, pwn them in tha face and tell them that as RL is more important than pvp the fact they are dead and afk is unimportant

me and botty are always at it (thats captain righteous ), he likes to SQUISH me (he doesnt like defiance tho)

Arrghh,

can't edit me previous post due to amount of time elapsed (only a day or two).

Anyway, I removed Gayle Force & Incoming from OoCS so as it stands at the mo it's just Deddmeat until I can get Rha in.

Hopefully the FF bubble's are still as useful as they were when I gave CoH a rest.

As Rha's lvl22 he can at least throw about some extra protection for PvP, maybe even be a pest and snipe a few.

Apologies for dragging this thread up from the depths, but I thought it might be an idea to say, now I'm one of you all

MANY thanks to Plight for the invite, i know he's asked me a few times before I finally gave in and signed, and I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone who's in the SG and all the many coalition buddies

No idea which one, but there is word of a 40+ TF going in the shadow shards, pls spread the word through the SG channel (which u should have editred into ur main chat on all toons pls ), and we can arrange one sunday mornig hopefully, we have the man power, now just need the common sense.

i want this for coin, he's new and helped with SSTFs before, and for Ed who has stayed on by accident and has only done 2 TFs!!! ever apparently. and the rest of u just for being cool

Thanks to Coin & Loki's salvage, we now have Hazard Zone teleporters. I'm not sure why we can only get Hazard Zone beacons, but I'm guessing heroes are supposed to be braver an' all that malarkey.

They currently land you:
- HOLLOWS (far side of Grendel's Gulch - v. convenient for Frosty & Atta)
- PEREZ (near lakeside theatre)
- DARK ASTORIA (near centre of map...in mid-air!)
- CREY'S FOLLY

If anyone would prefer other zones (we currently have beacons for Faultline and Boomtown as well, though not yet Eden) then anyone with base edit rights can swap these over.

just a note for the less well travelled too, if u are headed to portal corp in PI, getting dropped in Crey's Folly will mean u can go to the Rikti Crash Site and get a tp by the gate to the Portal at Portal Lawn, u neec to be 40+(?) to do this though.

Word of warning though about the Dark Astoria beacon.

When i used it, both times it I had on Hover, so I wouldn't fall straight away. Unfortunately I broke the map and ended up WELL away from the map and also 680 feet below it

I did /bug it, but be careful out there. You can get out of it if you can fly, just head upwards and evetually the map resets you, otherwise you'#ll need to use /stuck to get back to reality

Btw, is there a beacon for Eden? I can't see it listed on Vidiots list?

Small announcement: Hero SG base should (theoretically) now be raid ready as we have:

- 8 rooms
- 1 entrance
- 1 vault
- 6 anchors
- 1 raid teleporter (only the Arcane one fits)
- Med bay
- Mission computer

That said, as I've mentioned on the VG thread, only the next size up is labelled as being raid-capable (or maybe the devs didn't find the right way of slotting stuff in).
