It makes you all sad human beings. Even BaBs knows it's sad. Instead of playing the game you accumulate high post numbers? how is that ever good?. And then people hate it when you call them sheep....I think Einstein was right about humans....

Because you know... people can't play the game AND post.
Or check the forums while at work when playing isn't possible.
Or used to play and has a computer which the game works on and off for.
Or got bored of the game and sticks around to talk to buddies that were made.
But why rationalize when you can be a complete and utter dbag to everyone else? Post less plz.

I'm with BillZBubba on this one. Just nuke the post count and don't even use it on the new boards.
Post counts mean little if the content of the posts is not useful.
And that includes my own posts.
If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.

As for post count transfers, they didn't do it when CoV beta ended so I doubt it would happen this time. I had about 6000 more that could have been added to this count here.
They already tanked poster 'ratings' because people were using them to engage in forum PvP.

I'm guessing this as well.
Let's see.... I need about 8100 posts to enter the forum cartel before the changeover, and the changeover is about 24 hours away. 8100 divided by 24 divided by 60 is about 5 1/2 posts per minute. I can probably do it if I skip eating and sleeping from now till then.
Doable, but I'd have to avoid logging into the game too, and that's just asking too much of me.
