You can either buy the full GvE edition and use the serial code, or you can go to the NCSoft store and buy the GvE item pack serial for just the little bonuses of it.

Not really; considering updating your account with the cdkey of a different CoH release still grants you the free month ($15 value), plus whatever came with that release. Personally, I'm quite fond of the Justice set, and the sinister glove and boot options. And for the early game (before you can visit Ouroboros), the VIP teleporter is handy for getting around (depending where you need to go), and with a tailor in there - no more trekking to Steel or IP.

Considering item packs are usually $10 on their own, it's a fairly decent deal to go with the full editions.

Is it? The GvsE pack normally goes for $10. If you buy the boxed version you also get a free month ($15). If you can find it for under $25 (which is EASY), it's a bargain.

Look in the bargain bins at video game stores. I found a full retail copy of GvE for $10 Canadian that way a while ago.

Check out your local Big Lots. For a while now they've been selling copies of CoV CE, CoH CE and GvE for 10 bucks each. When you factor in the free months of play for each of those in addition to the goodies you are actually making 15 bucks and getting the goodies for free.

I did the same thing, except the box was still priced at 70 bucks. It's no wonder they went out of business!
I've picked up all the various out of date editions at Big Lots for anywhere from $5 to $10. Of course there aren't that many places that have Big Lots stores but if you do have one locally you should know that they seem to be the dumping ground for many dated games.

Well, so I've heard that I can't get the pocket D VIP pass unless I have the GvsE game, but I bought the AE edition game because it was the only one available to me at the store I have where I live...
Can I not get the pass because of this?
