Alternate Costumes?
As you guessed, you just have to use one of your normal costume slots and set it up with "normal" clothes.
I team with the Repeat Offenders.
I figured that might be the case, but I ahd to ask regardless.
*Sigh* Guess I better haul it to reach lv 20 so i can actaully GET a second costume slot. Thanks for the help!
Actually, you can buy or get in trade, Halloween salvage - four "costume parts" which aren't real costume bits, but their flavor text is hilarious. You get those, and take them to a contact. She will trade them for a freebie 5th costume slot which you can use right away. The costumes you make for the slot will always cost normal, but the slot itself is free after you redeem the salvage.

or you could buy the Halloween costume parts, if you have a full set of those you can turn them in for an extra costume slot.
Halloween Salvage
Alternatively you could buy Halloween salvage to get another costume slot, but you may be looking at a mil or two for a full set.
Dispari has more than enough credability, and certainly doesn't need to borrow any from you.

Note that you can get another costume slot by obtaining a set of Halloween Event Salvage, even before level 20, if you can beg/ borrow/ buy some off the market.

Why, there is, in fact, a way to get another costume slot even from level one, let me explain...

It's from a lvl 10+ arc.
How do you get it early at lvl 1?

Yes. It's not automatically granted when you roll the character.

If your primary AT of choice isn't "stalker", well... it should be.
Look! I ask a simple question, and it has turned itself into this
WHAT HAVE I DONE?!?!
I noticed no one told u who/where the contact for the halloween salvage is. So here is what u do. Go to WW (wenworths) market, buy all the halloween salvage, (just one of each piece, they run around 200K a piece) then go to croatoa via train. the contact is a witch that is standing beside the train station in the upper right corner of Croatoa map. She'es standing at the bottom of the stairs u'll see beside the station.
Or, if you're playing a villain, go to the Black Market, buy the salvage and then head to Nerva where you'll find Granny Bedlam to turn them in to. If you use a base teleporter, it will dump you out right on her island I believe.

There's a way but it involves using a plastic spork to sacrifice a five-legged goat that's been covered in pumpkin pie filling during a blue moon while chanting the secret incantations hidden by Led Zeppelin in Stairway to Heaven, which can only be heard while playing the song backwards.
Needless to say, it's not very common to see someone accomplish this.

First off, let me say im just back from a 2 year break, so if im asking something that should be common knowledge, thats why.
Earleir i was in a team with some nice folks, we lost some members so he invited some new ones. I teleport one of them to our location...and he shows up looking like a regular person. Then he flashs, and BAM, hes in costume and lookin good.
Now, my question is this. To do that..i already saw the costume change emote option on the costume change menu, but my question is how do you get a regular looking outfit. Do you need to take one of your costume slots and actaully dress up as a regular person or is there something special I dont know about.
I've also noticed some RPers at Pocket D, again dressed as if in normal clothing, so since im attempting to get into RP after being goen so long, it has me quite...curious...about how their pulling it off...
