Booster Pack: Furries!
As long as the pack contains more animal heads/tails, insectoid costume parts, grotesque mutated limbs, (face) tentacles and isn't labled as a "Furry" pack, I'm all for it.
Id also like to see some bird parts. maybe reskin the witch bussle with feather. and for pete sake please give beaks im tired of seeing all the chicken people wearing gassmasks

But still, more feathery options would be quite welcome: actual bird heads, feathery patterns, bird feet, and assorted styles of tailfeathers.
I think it would be cool if the booster were: "Call of the Wild" (Seriously, Jack London, that was the coolest name EVER)

As someone with 7 Rabbits and 7 Hares, I'm all for this idea. More and better animal costume parts, tails, heads and textures.
Call it Booster Pack: Call of the Wild.

Antropomorphic animal costume parts are as essential to the game as tights and jeans, as comic books are riddled with ancient animal gods, animalistic aliens, inhuman monsters and so forth. Currently the only real non-human parts we have are all monstrous, and they don't have to be.

I support the request for more costumes/parts to increase anthropromorphic options. The more variety the better imo.
Also while the name 'Furries' probably wouldn't be top of the list to call a booster pack, it's probably a lot better than Animal Farm.
I'm continually amazed at people's blinding ignorance in believing that it is. Does anyone actually try to verify their idle impressions in anything beyond SomethingAwful? I'm getting a little tired of the misconception that "furry" means some fat dude who likes to dress up like a mascot when that's actually a rather minute aspect of the whole thing.

I'm against associating it with the term furry though.
Regardless of whether it's true or not, when your average person hears the word 'furry' or 'furries', the first thing that jumps into their heads is 'a bunch of pervs who like to dress up in mascot suits to have sex'. It has nothing to do with the furry community, and everything to do with people's perceptions of the furry community. If you don't believe me, do a google image search for the term 'furries'. Half the pictures that come up are either overtly sexual or jokes about furry sex.
And besides, I agree with whoever said it, that 'Call of the Wild' is a much cooler name for the pack.

K, this is totally not what I thought the thread would be about when I entered it.

I have a feeling that if they put everything we'd HOPE for in the Mutation pack, it'd be like a 30$ investment ![]() Multiple eyes, eyestalks (OH that would rule), bigger tails, smaller tails, messed up arms, weird legs, squished head... SQUID head... need moar. [/ QUOTE ] Headless option. ![]() |

When the average person hears furry they have no idea what you are talking about.

I'd say calling it something else is prudent.

I'm guessing it will probably be called something like Hybrid or Genetics. That way the dodge the furry bullet and the marvel mutants bullet (paranoid legal department, you know).
If you base yourself off the content of previous super booster packs, we will likely get enough parts to complete two whole costumes plus extra bits. So, I'm guessing one will be a typical anthropomorphic animal costume and the other will be a radioactive mutant costume, with the extra bits being animal parts.
If there were some sort of anthropmorphic set of costumes, it would be best to try and hit all the different species with some alternate styles on each. Such as Canines, Felines, Reptiles, Bovines...ect. Maybe some aquatic species as well. With enough patterns and styles one category can cover a number of species. Like the difference between Dogs and Foxes, or Dragons and Lizards.
Personally I would like to see more aliens costume pieces as an alternative to just humans. But anthropomorphic animals would still be nice anyway concept-wise.

I would love...LOVE...having a Foxtail! (and one that looks better than CO's, at that).
I'd also love to have hands and feet options like Felcia (from Darkstalkers), without having monstorous legs.

You'd be surprised. I like to play with people's sensitivities and decency, and pretty much whenever I've dropped hints of the concept, the reaction of most people has been the same. That's not just strangers, either. Friends of mine have the same reaction, even if they're a little too polite to say more than "Uh... Ooookayyy..."

If there is a furry pack, can the bonus power be a non-combat power that creates short 6fire aura effect on the targeted ally? :P
What I most want is a 'squidy' tentacled head look
I agree with more animal pieces, just so long as it isn't called "Booster Pack: Furries."

But, for what it's worth, there is som fetish-like gear in the game already. Have you not seen the male chest piece that involves leather straps and nipple piercings?
