Yes more annoying, for the chat bug lasts all of a moment, but a borked bio sheet is there forever. Unless, of course, you pull it down because it looks so stupid...

the chat bug only annoys me when it hits while I'm trying to log in.
As someone who derives quite a bit of pleasure from in-game biographies, my own and others, the line break bug drove me absolutely crazy.

I never knew this was a bug... I just thought the Devs hated line breaks.
I need to go into my thirty-odd alts and fix all the bios now!

So.. my bios can have line breaks now? I never knew this was a bug, I thought it as a feature.

It's kind of tricky to go back in and fix the bios, though...when hitting <enter> to force a linebreak, I keep finding my cursor at the end of the whole bio instead of where I thought I'd stuck it. But fiddling with it eventually powered through this issue and it looks fine now.
Having the bios wrecked was like not having any color in the costumes; it just drained a lot of the uniqueness and creativity fro the game. Thank goodness it's now fixable even if it requires repeated, brute-force attempts.

When editing text, avoid using the mouse to place your cursor. I've had a lot more success just using the arrow keys.
It's really nice to see this bug dead. I've been staying clear of my ID screen since I13, more or less, to make sure it wouldn't mess anything up.

It's nice to see this feature fixed. I take a lot of pride in writing my character bios.
Cool! Now I should go and re-edit my old characters' bios. This REALLY infuriated me, and I'm glad to see it's gone. The symbol count above the text field is a nice touch, too.

Make sure that you call it a caret, not a cursor, in a feature request so you can speak right in dev jargon and get priority seating for speaking the secret language.
A cursor is your mouse pointer and the caret is the vertical flashy bar in a text field.

Alas, this did not work. Once you had opened up the ID window, WallOfText in your bio, even if you pasted a properly formatted copy in.
But now it is fixed. wwwwwwwwwaaaassssssswwwwwOne bug down, still a few to go.

I thank the devs for the fix I missed not putting in my bios.
