never understood boss farms...I particularly think lieutenants are better in most situations.

I've tried some post- MArch 'farms' and they usually end up with everyone getting killed because they forgot that they're not fighting Comm Officers.

I'm pretty sure MA farming is starting to die out now that you have to put actual effort into it.

I'm still looking for a Player Question in there somewhere and I'm not seeing it.

This just looks like a statement geared towards the devs, not a question geared towards other players.

Question: When will all the newbs understand that in order to not have to ask basic questions they have to play the game in it's entirity and experience the real game before asking a vet a REAL question?

No rewards for AE missions outside of "cool look what I made fun-ness". Problem solved, no more PL-ing or farming to be found there, it becomes what they intended

So what they intended it to be was an unused waste of space? Because that's exactly what it would be. Sure, the farmers and PL-ers would quit using it, but so would everybody else.

I wonder how many players actually know what this is in reference to...

Likewise, anytime I'm in a conversation and I mention Lorena Bobbitt or the term 'bobbitize' the majority of ppl just ask, 'who's that' or 'what's that mean'. I guess the majority of gamers these days are too young to remember these things.

I think the worst part of the "march to 50 noobs" is that, once they get there, they'll probably look around and go, "Meh, that's it?"

If there isn't content to keep them, what will?

They won't have the knowledge or skill to properly run a khled, and I assume (never having a 50 redside) the same holds true for the spiders and widows.

Then its back to pl'ing another toon to 50, then farming them out, rinse, repeat.

I don't think MA inherently causes this, I just think that there is one very short, very wide path of least resistance to hit the highest level in this game, and one narrower, thin path that requires a much larger time investment.

It isn't surprising that so many take the short path, but what will keep them in the game after they get to the end?

Content must be king, and I hope that the Dev's begin to really work on that aspect of the game.

i don't see why you all care about the way someone is playing -their- game that -they- paid money for if it doesn't affect you. It's not too hard to find TFs and teams outside of AE

i usually pl up to 20 because killing skuls again is just a little too much after 5 alts ~\0/~ and usually because that's when I decide if I'm gonna keep playing to 50 with an AT or if it sucks

Also some ridiculous ideas in this thread. Only getting exp when mobs aggro to you? Seems someone's being a hypocrite ~

The question really isn't paying the money to play the game it is them playing the game and getting their toons up to 50 so quickly in AE or PI/Grandville PLing without knowing their toons' potential and asking questions they should know after playing the full game to it's entirity minus MA/AE and PVP/Arena.

Actually, it does. When you play an MMO, how you play DOES effect the other players, whether it's directly or indirectly. And it's not "their" game. It's ours. All of ours.

To be honest I see the OPs point.
I remember I could take my level 50 to PI and easily get on a team.
Now I go to PI and it's almost completely empty.
Now "all" the level 1 thru 49s just stand in the AE in Atlas to join farm teams.

I'll admit I took my Scrapper from level 30 to level 43 in a couple days of AE missions, but when I finally went out to get on a team for actual gameplay missions there was no one to team with.
So much so that I was forced to either solo or go back to Atlas to join another AE missions team...which mostly consist of farms.
