  1. The Wildcard class would be incredibly and monstrously overpowered, especially if combined with Kinetics. An AT with Scrapper attacks plus Fulcrum Shift would put out disgusting damage and make farming a breeze. Add to that the ability to increase the output of Fulcrum Shift three times?

    Mhm, doesn't sound too pretty to me.

    Force Fields plus melee attacks would completely mitigate the need for defense as well, and basically turn Wildcards into the WoW equivalent of old bubblers - basically unkillable.

At first, I thought this was about the AE, and I made a big post asking why the OP was being mocked for offering a legitimate complaint towards the most recent nerf - the fact that it doesn't affect farmers in the slightest in the long run, but severely hampers those trying to create a decent, fun mission.

    Then I read it again.

  4. This is equivalent to the expert PVP players moving into PvE zones, then whining that they cannot attack any of the people conducting a costume contest around Atlas

  5. Although incredibly cliche and pretty boring, I made what I thought was an accurate representation of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse CoH style. If I can, I'll see if I can get some pictures up of them.
  6. i'm playing grav/electric and it's fine, I'm not taking melee powers though b/c I don't really like the blapper feel of the attack set, gonna round out my powers with Mu Mastery and have two guardians, plus an energy form, plus a boatload of control and AoE damage powers

    and domination charges perfectly fine to pop at the right time sure I may need one or two blues once in a while but usually I get dom up just as I need it and I'm at lvl 5 now? I don't see your issues and I'm cycling through my attack chain consistently, with minimum enhancements
  7. HVAS is a monster of a tank who can be buffed and healed, wish you could get a permanent one as a buddy for defenders like me who can't solo

    I only used longbow in the RV but it seemed weaker than HVAS, then again I like HVAS because it looks like a giant armored purple Dog from Half-Life

    Play crysis or half-life or something if you want to kill things, hell go back and play freedom force if you want to done your spandex and take out some dastardly villains

    first of all, the whole world would be a mayhem mission, similar to what someone said earlier. Activity in relation to server size and amount of people online and in the zone, so that it wouldn't be ridiculous; factions would team up and then fall apart, and heroes/villains could take advantage of this, etc. The more people keep the streets clean, the better rewards they would get

    I would also put in a sort of PVP game, called Conquest, where heroes would enter into the Rogue Isles and attempt to conquer specific islands and zones, and vice versa with the villains. The super-individuals could choose between multiple zones to spawn in and multiple places to spawn in the zone, thus reducing the chance of camping. Police/Arbiter drones are deactivated because the heroes/villains use a jammer to do so. If the villains/heroes succeed in capturing strategic control points in the zone, they take it over, and can reinforce the area against other hero attack. The more zones you take over, the better enhancements/costume parts you get, so it would be a constant rise no matter how often you play. So, basically, the world would be balanced between keeping control of the zones you inhabit and making sure they aren't lost to the enemy forces. SGs and VGs would play a large role in this, getting special bonuses for working together and allowing them to truly show their power on their respective servers.

    I would also get rid of the whole "capes at 20" thing. Seems a little ridiculous.

    Mothership raids on the other hand, have you as a part of a rampaging horde of heroes all kicking epic amounts of alien tail in their own style. It's like being in a comic book or cartoon where there's a mass battle with dozens of individual characters getting a moment of being awesome, except you get that moment for the whole time.

    If it wouldn't lag so badly, I'd love to see more events where you take on an army, rather than a single ugly monster. One of the reasons I love most of the ITF.

    there are lots of issues with this issue (*ba dum dump*). I'm interested in story content too, and I can definitely appreciate the 5th coming back, but I'd rather wait for more polished stuff than get thrown some small bones while Going Rogue is in development

    Not that bad, cool to see the return of some old foes, and more faces, this is a really good issue, not the greatest ever, but not garbage as you seem to think

    the tf makes no sense and is filled with holes, from what I hear it's still lolpvp, and the costumes from the last time I looked at them still had glitches and didn't match at points, unless this has been fixed. The new faces are alright, but I'd rather have a task-force that makes sense heroside rather than throwing 4 AVs with Reichsman and a bunch of other weird plot points and call it a day, and a little bit more work on the one villainside to make it better.

    this issue would be far better with some polish to it; if the only praise you have for it is "return of old foes and some faces" then I doubt it's gonna be a "really good issue", considering the other past content issues have added whole new zones with a far smaller team, but I'll right that off as the game being younger and the devs being more in-touch with the smaller and more tight-knit community

    you don't even mention the Super Booster which imo is the best part of the whole thing, even though you have to buy it to experience it; so many character designs could be accomplished with the whole "different costume slots can have Male/Female/Huge" aspect of it.

  21. i don't see why you all care about the way someone is playing -their- game that -they- paid money for if it doesn't affect you. It's not too hard to find TFs and teams outside of AE

    i usually pl up to 20 because killing skuls again is just a little too much after 5 alts ~\0/~ and usually because that's when I decide if I'm gonna keep playing to 50 with an AT or if it sucks

    Also some ridiculous ideas in this thread. Only getting exp when mobs aggro to you? Seems someone's being a hypocrite ~

    considering I PL'd my Defender to 50 to get a Khledian for a character concept and constantly /ignore buy influence spam in e-mails, you sort of suck at guessing what people do

  24. tbh I've run two and I choose the costume I like the most ~\o/~

    people will scream "RIGGED" and the snotty little elitists will snob about you not picking their ~amazing super special sparkle~ costume but I just /ignore and move on
