Off the subject, I found a pretty funny bug already. I just was fooling around making a new character while waiting for the servers to "truely come live" and of course after creating it it bumped me back out to the login screen, but the bug is that when I logged back in to the character screen I saw my created character and it says that it has been logged off for 3467 days. Ummmmm this game is not 9 almost 10 years old. That would make my toon logged off for 9 years and 9 months. WOW! I have the oldest toon on this game! It was created 4 years before the game came out. BEAT THAT!!!! LOL

I'm in. I'll be under Mrs. Demon, my fire/fire blaster. After playing it on the test server, my brother said that it's good to have more ranged attack players than melee because of the dark/dark AV.

i don't see why you all care about the way someone is playing -their- game that -they- paid money for if it doesn't affect you. It's not too hard to find TFs and teams outside of AE ~

The question really isn't paying the money to play the game it is them playing the game and getting their toons up to 50 so quickly in AE or PI/Grandville PLing without knowing their toons' potential and asking questions they should know after playing the full game to it's entirity minus MA/AE and PVP/Arena. -
Question: When will all the newbs understand that in order to not have to ask basic questions they have to play the game in it's entirity and experience the real game before asking a vet a REAL question?
Question: How many licks does it truely take to get to the center of a tootsie roll pop? -
I think when I-15 comes out (Which may be today since I just downloaded a 2.8 meg file), the TF's in there will pull a lot of us away from AE I feel and have us focusing on what I-15 has to offer for maybe a short time....maybe a long time...who knows. But I'm with Dark Jeremy, if you see Leejun, LVL 50 Stone tank in AE, I too only will run mainly with my SG or people I know or people who are over the 9 month vet badge because the newbs out there need to learn the game and like I said earlier, EARN their lvl 50's and gain the respect and friendship with me rather than just join my team, sit at the door and do nothing to earn XP to just get their first lvl 50 in a day or 2 and not know a damn thing about the game itself. But there are the times you really don't know a newb account from a persons 2nd or 3rd account who are vets, that's why I only do friends. If I see someone that's on my team, whether it be AE missions/Arcs or regular game missions, not doing a damn thing to help the team out and just sit there, THEY ARE BOOTED AUTOMATICALLY!!!! If you are going to team with me, you WILL play and fight....PERIOD!

I understand your concerns about AE but you have to realize that AE has some good aspects as well....especially for the vets.
Sometimes we vets, and I say sometimes, we get tired of the same old missions, the same old TFs and AE brings out differentiallity to the game. It allows we, the users, to experiment on making up our own scenerios, characters and such to bring boredom to a stand still. Though you have not really looked in the "find" option where you want to find where people are in the game because if you had, you would see that there are more people out in the zones in missions that the game originally had out there than you see in AE. Most players are still playing the zone missions, TF's and such. Also, if you go to the Triumph Watch channel, you see a lot of players asking to join or asking people to join them in TF's, missions and the such and you don't see much chatter about AE there.
So, you see, AE hasn't really taken over but maybe 25% to maybe 35% of the players which most of the players you see are the newbs out there to where you have stated and I agree, that they come into the game, get PL'd to lvl 50 and don't even know how to play them which is pretty sad. But if it bothers you to answer the simple basic questions they have, it's your right not to answer them and to tell them that if they would play the regular missions of the game and EARN their 50's that they would know. By the way, I am one month off from being a 30 month vet myself. I would have been a 60 month vet already if I hadn't have gottem married for 2 years and then divorced to miss 2 years of game play but family was more important than the game. But away from that, I feel that even coming back after my 2 year sebatical, when I came back to the game, I was excited to come back to new things and new challenges as well as new powersets and the such.
Right now, my sister just got this game and she and I have the leveling pact and when she calls me up to play, we go out and play the regular missions, which I still love to play and love to experience them with a newbie so that if she does have a question along the way, I can answer her while we are playing and show her or tell her how to play that scenerio.
I've said my 2 cents and am now stepping off my pedastool. -
