Lets start a Movement!

I can't understand why the AE building in thr RWZ goes virtually unused, but let's change that. Seeing as it is the only CoOp AE building in the game, I vote that everyone interested in doing AE stuff that is lvl 35+, goto RWZ from now on. Doesn't matter if you farm or wanna run real arcs, you'll have twice as many folks to form a team with VEATs and only 35+ people so no useless lowbies begging to door sit. Just a thought.

Not a bad idea. Redside I generally use the one in St. Martial for my higher-level guys, but why not?

Posted

I use the one in RWZ almost exclusively already.

And for exactly those reasons

Well it takes more than one guy to make it a movement :P but I for one am going to always try RWZ first when I log in. I started asking folks in game, and to my surprise the vast mojaority of folks I talked to didn't even know there was an AE in RWZ. Just need to spread the word I suppose. If people start going there it will catch on rather quickly.

I only got to the RWZ AE when I'm going to run a co-op team with friends, otherwise I do all my work in Founders Falls or Sharkhead.

NO!

It's where I go to create my arcs. Nice, quite and usually lag free. Let's keep it that way for the architect in us all!

A possibility is the Kings Row AE, it is virtually (no pun intended) empty and it is levels 1-54, so you can enjoy peace and quiet there. Also if you don't want to deal with lowbie whining (from experience there is almost none there; even on freedom) you can hide your chat box. This way it is a win-win-win situation.

Well, other than this thread...I'm not sure how I spread the word and try to get folks to start gathering in RWZ. Unless you are dual boxing to PL a lowbie alt, or are uinder lvl 35, I can't imagine why anyone would want to stay in Atlas or Cap over RWZ. Maybe I need to throw an AE event in RWZ or something.

Even for folks that just PL from 1-50 using the AE only, both Atlas and Cap both conveniently have Vangaurd buildings to enter the RWZ.

Great idea!

To be honest, I didnt know there was an AE there either so...off to explore!

Posted

I've been playing my newest MM as of late, but I think I'll take you up on this next time I play an upper level toon; Cap has been getting too spammy anyways (yes, I am on Freedom ). I've always been a fan of RWZ but it's never all that populated anymore - and that needs to change.

VIVA LA REVOLUCION!

Posted

I shoulda mentioned I am on Freedom also, but ya RWZ like most other zones is dead and I agree it needs to chamge. If it became the new high lvl AE hub, I'm sure it would be easier to form Lady Grey TF teams and pylon raids as well.

On Champion server we have Monday Night MA hosted by Amygdala. She has organized an event where teams get together and do a specific set of MA arcs to help people get noticed and feedback. This is hosted in the RWZ building. You might want to try something similar on your server.

Starting a thread like this is a good way to get ideas. Get the word out on the Post Area for your server, it is near the main page on the bottom. Also talk to people you know and people you meet in AE buildings.

Good luck

it's not a winning solution afaic lol. I use KR cos it's relatively empty; I don't relish it being full of annoying AoEs like Atlas etc is.

Ironically, I find thT the PI AE building is often empty too.

The more people you get outta AP that are high leveled, the better.

I really wish they'd take AE out of Atlas (& Galaxy) and make Kings Row the first spot. No one wants to be in King's Row!

Why anyone with sentience wants to be in the cesspool of AoE spam and farming that is Atlas AE is utterly beyond me.

I like Kings Row. Thats where I play the market.

Heroside I use the Brickstown AE for Solitude in soloing.
Villainside I use the Sharkhead AE for this.

When I want to team AE I'll head to RWZ. I promise.

Looks fun ! And coop teams are often funnier than non-coop ones, because of a greater diversity in the team setup

I'll head to RWZ time to time to see if there are some ppl running story arcs there

Is this as close to official proof that I'll ever see that the people that hang around in atlas aren't cooperative?

How about we NOT crowd the only co-op place?

[/ QUOTE ]

It'd be a nice change of pace to actually see any sort of a crowd in there, even if they're in there FOR THE WRONG REASONS. ahem

I have to admit that I have yet to go hang in RWZ though. :P I was too busy cobbling together my latest arc (see sig, it's a blast!), but I do plan on going through with this soon. Maybe I should go work on arcs in the quietude there as well to add some semblance of "people coming to RWZ for the AE" anyway.

I am glad they have an AE building in Atlas, it keeps the farmers and MA Babies away from the rest of us smart enough to avoid Atlas, otherwise we would have to put up with the constant spams everywhere. I love the silence in KR and RWZ, lets me create in peace.

New word for the dictionary - MA Baby - characters born and raised in the AE Building.

Not that I have seen lowbies sitting at the door in AE missions since auto-sk makes them somewhat useful regardless of their level, I would support more co-op AE missions.

The development team and this community deserved better than this from NC Soft. Best wishes on your search.

Good one, Jdouble.

Awesome in fact. I hope people take advantage of this little known way to combine forces in the digital realm...er...in the virtual world...er...
