WHAT! WHAT! Evidently you do not have an IN N OUT around you otherwise you would not make that statement.

Yea! Ostrich Burger here I come. I have to say Chevy's on the river is probably not a good idea for us, since we have to head to San Bruno that night (opposite direction and what not).

Although I too heard rumblings of teh bowlings afterwards. I'd say you should watch me handle a ten pound ball, but there's just no way to make a risque bowling joke without it sounding entirely too goofy.

Less than 12 hours 'till Murder Burger! Yay! Looking forward to my Ostrich burger and fried zucchini...not to mention meetin' and greetin' with my fellow Justice peeps.

Here's the details once again for easy reference...

Justice Server NorCal Murder Burger Run
Saturday, July 11th @ 11am
Murder Burger (currently known as Redrum Burger)
978 Olive Drive
Davis, CA

Due to the limited amount of space indoors and the fact that one of our canine Justicites will be in attendance, methinks it'll be best to gather/eat/chat either on their outdoor patio (on the northern side of the building) or at the picnic benches under the big tree at the southern end of the parking lot. Luckily, the weather is going to be pretty mild tomorrow (weather.com predicts high 70s around the time we'll be gathering). If anyone arrives before Somber and I, grab an outdoor table or three!

(P.S. For those NorCal folks who still have it, my cellie number is still the same as it was during HeroCon. For those going to the Murder Burger run who don't it or have misplaced it since HeroCon and would like a point of contact, PM meh).

Chewie just woke me up and he is excited to go to Murder Burger.

*Yawns and falls back to sleep*

Chewie! Wake your daddy back up so you can get Murder Burger!!

Posted

Chewie and I are heading to Murder Burger. We shall see everyone at 11AM.

See you all there. (Notice how I don't post until an hour beforehand, y'know, to discourage people from dropping out at the last second.)

Also, Rabbi is poi...sick, so he can't make it.

Well, this was a very good time, I hope for all. Thank you, Ocho, for the fun of having a Mod with us, and all the goodies in the trunk. And a big thank you to Manoa, Teh Boyfriend, Peep *smooch!*...well, everboddeh who could show up! I truly enjoyed getting to meet new folks and spend time with some awesome Justicites. It was a great day to cap a great week and a great vacation. Thanks!

Glad you had a good time. Wish I could have joined you. I'm in the mood for a good burger, and one of those would have hit the spot.

If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.

What a fantastic time! I couldn't help but go into a slight food coma (aka nap) after I got back home...my tummy's *still* digesting the ostrich burger and fried zucchini! Thanks bunches to TA, Sassy, tremorr, Somber Traveler, Red Gren, DD (and Chewie too), Kid Kraft and Peep for coming to make the end of Scimi's trip super special! And a special thanks to Mod-08/TheOcho for the unexpected appearance and loot! It was *really* awesome to have you there and get the chance to meet ya and hang out with you a bit. It's always such a joy to hang out with my fellow Justicites and the Paragon Studios staff...y'all really exemplify what makes this game so great.

Some pics of the excursion...enjoy!

P.S. We NorCal folks should really to get together sometime again in the nearish future...next time, I think it'd be a good idea to gather up somewhere in the Bay to make things fair for our Bay area peeps (that's peeps with a "p," not Peep with a "P" and no "s" ).

EDITED...somehow listed Peep twice instead of listing Red Gren.

*sprinkles the thread with brightly coloured sneakers and shiny buckles* .... weee hee heeee!!

That was a great time. I love the ostrich burgers that they have there ... and I generally do not care for burgers at all.

Yeah Manoa ... that burger that TA consumed was pretty impressive .... makes me wonder how he copes here with our mostly veggie diet .. ... darn hippie kids ... git off've mah lawn!!!

DD - I think Chewie was most excellently well behaved. Next time, if appropriate, I'll be sure to bring TA's Bromance Dog, Max, and you can see real puppy love .... give Chewie a hug for us, he didn't even slam any car bombs.

Kid, it was a pleasure .. Sombre, as ever, lovely to see you .. Red Gren, you are such a sweetheart. Manoa, yes we should get to gether more often. That damned life thing keeps cropping up.

The lunch was good, the company excellent, and Mod 8 showed up despite finding out that Tremorr was coming, so he's obviously a hero!

Tremorr, lovely to see you, although I"m not sure that, legally, I did, under that magnificent beard and shock of hair. BTW, Grizzly Adams called, he wants his reputation back.

Scimi and Peep were the cutest couple there. They get my vote for sheer sweetness.

See you all again soon .... those sneakers will need another airing one day, and my daughters won't be seen with me if I'm wearing them so it's down to you poor suckers!! *Ebil laughter*

It was great to see everyone at Murder Burger and hopefully I will see everyone at Hero Con. Chewie had a great time because when he got into the car he crashed and did not wake up until we got to the Bay Bridge.

Thanks Mod 8 for the free swags.

Peep and Scimi, it was great to see you at dinner. I hope you enjoyed the sushi at Yuzu.

Thanks for letting me tag along. It's always really great to hang out with my fellow players and chat it up a bit.

My vote is chewy for official server mascot.

Humph! I see how it is!

Moves to Sassy's side of the server!!!

Seriously though, it was good to see everyone that made it, and to shoot the breeze with ya after the gorging! It was awesome to have Mod 08 come out, and the schwag you brought was a nice bonus too!

I always find these get togethers to be a hoot and look forward to the next one!

Also notice how Peep is listed in there twice. . .

It was good seeing everyone again in person, hopefully next time I can drag the Rabbi down to one of these things.

Also, thanks for the surprise visit and schwag, El Ocho Magnifico!

Frick! You ever have that moment when you're posting a post and you know in your gut something doesn't feel right about it? Then you go over the photos, count up all the people in them then count up all the people listed three or four times to make sure you got everyone? Then you find out that the counting technique didn't work as intended. Yeah, always "fun" when that happens...

Post is all fixed now...I'm really sorry RG!!! *hugs*

Are you sure this honor doesn't go to DD and Chewie?

Scimi's landed safely in Atlanta, and I have awakened from my post drive-back-from-the-bay nap.

Both Scimi and I wanted to thank everyone who showed up at the Murderburger run. We had a wonderful time and it was a great round up (ed: round out?) to Scimi's week out in Sacramento.

Thanks to Mod 8/The Ocho for attending as well, and for the great, great schwag!

Also thank you, DD, for a great dinner. Scimi and both felt it was the best sushi we have ever had. If you are in San Mateo or nearby, it's worth the trip!

Chewie and DD were a close second, the judges had to re-assess their height difference.

BTW I think Tremorr was laid up the next day with coh-induced trauma ....

I really enjoyed all the nudity!
And the milkshake I got was pretty good... the beverage kind....
The company outshined the food tho, that was the reason for going. Chewie gets my vote for mascot, I loved how he went after the dog that was ten times bigger than he was and the bigger dog wasn't having any... Chewie is a true scrapper!

The bay area has tons of great and fun places to meet, activites and events. Just let us know and we can come up with some fun, interesting stuff to go and do. How do you all feel about Roller Derby? Niners & Raiders? Food festivals?
This is in two weeks and usually is great fun, but going home, u might want to leave the windows down:
