Some of us deliberately play on lower population servers.
That's how some of us want to play. Less lag, less broadcast spam.
If you're concerned with letting people play how they want to play, then don't try to change the servers.
If you want a high population.. you can have that!
If you want a low population.. you can have that!
Attempts to "help" or "fix" low pop servers are just a way to reduce our options.

I don't agree with the whining, but I do agree with the idea. I think server populations need to be balanced a bit, and a minor boost to experience/infamy rewards to servers based upon their population would certainly serve to spread people out more.
It's not 'punishing' freedom and virtue people, since they are still getting what they always had.
whta part didn't you read about how inconsistant the data would be to even try to think of this idea? there is no way the Dev's would ever do this. in any way shape or form. there is no punishment being doled out at all. you chose your server and if you can't find teams or can't make them yourself then TRANSFER to another server.

Telling people they are not entitled to the same rewards for playing the same content based on their choice of server is punishment.
It is also a great way to lose customers.
Not to mention it's a 'solution' to a nonexistent problem. Just because you're not bombarded with blind invites upon login doesn't mean teams are impossible to find. With a bit of effort, teams can be fruitfully formed on any server. It takes a bit more effort on servers with lower population, but not nearly so much more than Dev intervention is called for.

Ah, who doesn't love a good brewha thread? I think that this one was one of my favorites. Not THE favorite... I think the favorite was when he argued about free speech, and stuff. THAT was golden.
Take just one of your 50s, and pay the $10 to transfer to Freedom.
At 95 hours per week that character will have accumulated over 100 million inf (assuming its a bad soloer and you dont team). Take a decent soloer and you would be loooking at over 200 million inf as a pot.
Oh and thats in SG mode, so you would have at least half a million to a million prestige to make a starter base. (5-10k prestige/hour is not hard to do running missions)
Thats your new base of operations. Problem done and dusted for good.
Alternatively start a newbie, and in the 95 hours level 'normally, you shouldn't be far off 50 with the same prestige. You would have less inf to hand unless you lucked out into a big worthwhile drop.
1 week, and you never have to complain again. Well until Freedom is locked during the next event anyway...

You do not represent a "silent majority" in any way, shape, or form. If you really represented a large cross-section of the playerbase, we'd have a much higher attrition rate due to accidental self-inflicted keyboard injuries.
Like it or not, the forums and the people who post on them ARE a good representative cross-section of the playerbase at large. And as Sigium points out, they have the added bonuses of being willing and able to clearly articulate their concerns to the other players and developers as well as being the ones who typically spend the most money buying all of the bells and whistles for their accounts. If your idea gains absolutely no traction with the forumites, chances are it has little chance of influencing the developers' decisions. This is especially true since our current lead developer wants to foster an attitude of "give the players what they want" rather than one of "here's my vision and you'll like it".
You only represent yourself, and given your hypocricy and your horrible grammar, you barely do that much. Stop claiming you secretly represent all of us. It's an insult.

Signs to the public that you are having issues with population of your players and you are in trouble keeping paying players in game. It's like putting a sign outside your house saying I never lock my door and please rob me. Not a good idea. I played DAOC when they come up with the idea of go to lvl 20. Hurt the game in the long run. I left the game after this. Three months later, I'm here.

Your right i don't. But i speak about what i see and KNOW!. I had 95hrs this last week.See you don't get it do you.Everyone i talk to say they don't use the forums. Only a few say they do. Thru they day i had to tell people about posi messege. O and the MA nerf i watch are population drop from 300+ to close to 120. When there pockets get lighter next month i hope they say maybe forumers really dont know this game. I play this game prob more then most people out there. And i know what i see and hear. And trust me on this. Forumers are the silent few. But hey when they release another pack here soon you know why. There pockets got lighter. So since i seen are pop drop by half and it went from being ez to build a SF to darn near imposs.. I think we deserve help for are pop.

There isn't some impossible 'gap' between the forums and the game. In fact, the developers have been working hard to close that gap, with constant links to Developer announcements on not only CoH announcements, but on the Updater announcements. Crazy, I know, right?
And, guess what else? The developers aren't Gods. They're people like you, myself, and every other person in this forum that posts, with the addition of greater insight to the game, and it's mechanics.
Your suggestions aren't issues of game mechanics, they're issues of COMMON SENSE, which you've failed to portray, despite all of this time you claim to spend on the game with a stoned look on your face, and eyes that are maybe 3 minutes away from being glazed over.
