Powersets you want, but realize are unlikely!
Any sort of new mastemind primary. The masterminds have only one new primary since the beginging of the game. When power prolifiation went into effect the Brute recived two new primaries and that was considered fair increase to mastermind primaries by the devs.

It's a dark and story night. That means something bad is happening out there
Draw Style Melee: The complaints about draw times... well how about a melee set where you draw, strike, and resheath all in quick motions. Thus the weapon is constnatly being pulled and done so extreamly quickly.
Bushido?
I never could remember the actual name but I think that is it.
Iaido.
Actually, I'll add that one to my list too. Remember that one Breath of Fire game with the Dog Swordsman? Or Swordsdog I guess. Anyway, he'd draw the blade slightly, flash through the enemy, then reappear back in the line-up sheathing his sword. Awesome.
Iaijutsu actually. -do is "way"; it's basically the formal practice, but not the actual battlefield implementation.
(Note - I am being immensely nitpicky here >.> .... I do that.)
A Warrior's Friend: ID 335212 - Help Infernal save Valkyrie from Battle Maiden.
Above Mars Part 1: The Wellington: ID 159769 - Save Mars by destroying a monstrous battleship from the inside!
>.> My DA page, where I attempt to art.
Oh feel free, I'm always open to new knowledge, and to be corrected when I'm wrong, however slightly.
...This sounds sarcastic, even with the smiley. It's not though.
-do and -jutsu cannotate pretty much as mistformsquirrel said, but some martial artists prefer to describe what they do as "iaido" anyway -- it makes it sound more... hm. More spiritual, in a way. This is why some martial arts are 'officially' suffixed with -do (Akido) and others with -jutsu (Ninjustsu). Iaido/iaijutsu can go either way, as a general term, but masters/instructors are likely to have their own specific preference.
I'd like to see a Charm/Charisma Defense set for melee, a staff set available as a Blaster secondary and melee primary (I mean, geez, of all the weapons that can be used in a superhero game, this one actually shows up in comic books quite a bit!), most of the existing weapons (at least katana/ninja blade and claws) adapted to Blasters and Corruptors in one way or another, and several of the shape-altering and animal control sets already described.

Ahh.. I miss that game. I beat two of them.... couldn't beat three and beyound. I think Three I couldn't beat because the final boss threw out so many freaking lethal status effects that something always ended up killing the whole group. >_<

Myria was probably the most annoying final boss I have ever encountered. Though, because of it, I think the defeat was the most rewarding. Especially because I think I had 1 Wisdom Fruit at the time.
Thank you, Champion.

Grappling hook power pools for a travel power (Can't happen)
Acrobatics Travel: a mix of super speed/super jumping, along with the ability to jump off of any surface, doing flips in the process. Unfortunately, this is also not doable.

I am sure this has been discussed to death, but I have never seen an answer as to why it isn't possible. Just asking out of total, honest curiosity.

Elasticity would be awesome, but animation would probably be a nightmare for the Devs.
[/ QUOTE ]
Maybe not a nightmare. It'd require lots of planning and testing tho'. Speaking as someone who went to one of those animation and gaming schools, this would've been a very enjoyable challenge.
1) A martial arts that's really rugged and involves punches as well as kicks
2) A power pool that allows us to use a weapon, either ranged or melee. Also a swingline type pool
3) Energy Rifle set
4) Growth
Oh, a Lightning Blast set, with big thick yellow/white bolts and KABOOM sounds that stun or knock back foes (much like the bolts from Lightning Storm), as opposed to the thin blue bolts and *bzzt* sounds we get from Electric Blast.
Please try my custom mission arcs!

Clown Masterminds.
Oh, and a mastermind that allies himself with a gang and thus can call their members, like a Rikti communications officer. Because I wanna have a KoA MM. :|

A set I'd like to see is Draining Touch. It would be a type of melee where instead of punching people, you touch them and drain their energy. There are a lot of characters I think this would fit, and it would make a nice visual departure from the current melee sets. Plus, probably not terribly hard to animate with existing animations.

As Taki does in the Soul Calibur series?
I'd like to see a magic-based blast set along the lines of old school Dr. Strange. It'll never happen because in order to be done right it would very clearly be magic, which would fit only one out of five origins.
a number of water based sets, a blast,a buff set,a control, an assault, a defensive set, and a melee set, though apparently water is a bugger to render, so ill keep faking it with energy blast.

More or less. Though the resident Iaido person of SoulCalibur is Setsuka.
She has an umbrella too.
Yay for Iaido umbrella.
Violence has its own economy. Therefore, be thoughtful and precise in your investment.
I'd like to see a guitar blaster and controller set! That'd be pretty rad. It'd need a few melee attacks as well, perhaps as a power pool.
Bum Melee
Cmon, who doesn't wanna projectile vomit and smack people with a beer bottle?
OK, here's one I know they'll never do because it would involve building, then animating, custom skeletons, but I still want it: Animal Summoning. Especially if they ever made hero masterminds. In fact, I want a bunch of hero mastermind summoning powers: Police Leadership (like mercs, but with PPD), Ninja Leadership (like Ninjas for masterminds, only white uniforms instead of gray and black, and something else instead of the Oni), Animal Control, and Elementalism (uses the various controller pets as mastermind minions). Have it use the blaster secondaries as its secondaries.
Other than the animal control, they could do the rest in a long weekend, and debug it in two weeks of closed beta. But they probably never will.

I want an Umbrella/Parasol scrapper.
No, really. I do.
[/ QUOTE ] YES.
Oh my god yes.
1) Bop: Standard 3sec Recharge Melee thwap.
2) Belt Upside The Head: Standard 6sec Recharge Melee smack.
3) Twirling Swing: Swing the parasol around and smack any targets in front of you- Good Old Melee Cone.
4) Pose: Build-Up clone, except you pose fancily as you glow with power.
5) Prancing Spin: You open your umbrella, leap in the air, and spin gracefully around, dealing damage in a PBAoE.
6) Neener Neener: Scrappertaunt Clone.
7) Demure Technique: You lightly bat the enemy, and then hide behind your umbrella, giggling. Even if you are a big muscley manly man. Like Parry/Divine Avalanche, but somewhat less powerful.
8) Mesmerizing Patterns: A cone attack where your umbrella's deft movements hypnotize your foes even as they're rapidly beaten by umbrella. Confuse, melee cone that damages over like four ticks.
9) Parasol of Trickery: You crouch down and reflect light into your enemy's eyes off the few metal parts of your umbrella, then spring up, slamming them into the sky. Excellent damage, knockup, and a bit of a tohit+perception debuff.
