Well, if they open the capsule and somethigng crazy is supposed to happen, it would have to be a backend behavioral script on existing critters and not much else at the current rate.

Here's to hoping it's more than Eochai and Rikti Invasion firing off both at once

Of course technically speaking noon and midnight are neither am nor pm....

To the writers of this fluff announcements. Please use noon and midnight. It will solve a whole host of confusion up front.

I mean is it that hard to write 11am until midnight (Eastern) ?

Thats total clarity right there.

Of course then there is your use of EST, when the 'real world' East coast is on EDT right now.

I predict it will all be turned on at ONCE.

I just imagine them sitting at a giant control panel and then turning all the switches one by one in a row.

All the devs are going to line up in AP and all at one time turn around and moon us. Promptly followed by delicious cheese cake ,in the shape of a moon, and juice. And as we are all standing around with mouths on the ground and delicious cheese cake cake in said mouths, the the top of the atlas globe will open. Then a giant rocket will pop out of the top, and we will all go to the moon to fight the 5th. Because we all know they have a moon base.

Though I suspect given their prior abilities during events, one after another sounds closer to what we might get.

I would think the annoucement would probably center around ish 15 and the future of CoX. 5 years is a good run for the game and I hope that it lasts for 5 years more. I came on about a month before ish 8 came out and took a hiatus for about a year due to family things going on but I am on now for good and enjoy this game.

Sooo... let me get this straight:

(1) The special event is scheduled for a workday.
(2) The special event is in the middle of the workday.
(3) The special event lasts one whole hour.

(4) We do not actually know in which hour the event will happen, because you posted using EST, Eastern STANDARD Time, when most of the country is now in Daylight Savings Time. So we're left to guess/infer/assume that you actually mean EDT...?

(5) You imply special badges that may or may not be earnable outside this magical, mysterious hour.
